I love that the Warners Bros basically covered the three most popular anime tropes for this episode. You've got Wakko who embodied the silliness of anime. Yakko who represented the popular Shonen trope and finally their sister Dot. Who played the role of the magical girl anime trope to perfection.
And everything is parodying Gainax/khara/Trigger style: static frame zoom-outs, tall and bold stylized fonts covering screen, digitalized pencil/sketch art with added extra effects, overproduced and breaking the 4th wall cut transitions (Dot transformation pose to her being attacked while retaining said pose), already self-parodying trope of overconfident antagonist who is hugely overpowered and only laughs maniacally while asserting dominance, random/uncalled for lose/tragic death of one of the main characters without any reason or logic behind it, just to shift the mood and emotions. You can't do that by just watching few trailers randomly. You need to be total geek, nerd and weeb to do it perfectly like they did.
I actually wouldn’t mind watching an entire anime with the Animaniacs as the main characters. The animation is very smooth and the characters look amazing. My favorite look is yakkos design.
If that happens though, all the other characters would get the redesigns, and with how the internet reacted to Dot, I’m scared to know what they’d do with some other characters.
To be fair, the original Animaniacs was done in Japan, and my mom says designs look very anime Animaniacs was actually animated by TMS entertainment. And in Tokyo, Japan.

Dot's Bow is very interesting. It's not from Sailor Moon. Kind of Super Sentai-ish but still Magical Girl-ish. It looks like a Bow and Arrow from a female love/plant based Digimon mixed in with Magical Girl/Magical Fantasy High level Archer from like an MMORPG. The gold makes it look like a unique drop from Diablo.
