Maybe he had some accident with that wrist that made it so stiff. I noticed my left wrist is just the same as him. I had an accident with this hand and it had to be stitched.

I know he's the original drummer and wrote the drum parts, but why didn't he play like he did on the studio track 0:30 ? Did he simplify it so as to conserve energy throughout the set?
