omg that INTRO where you're describing that first interaction triggered me, but you also calmed me down lol glad I'm not the only one feeling that way!
Just wanna say thanks so much, I am started to do more weddings and larger weddings and I definitely needed a contract this made it super easy and I got all those clauses in that are must haves that I wouldn’t have known without this so thanks so much man🙌
Thank you so so much for this :) I've been stressing on this and now I finally have put together a rough draft and will be finalizing my contract tonight. Mahalo nui loa.
thankyou so much for this video Mitchell I really needed this, I finally decided to make photography contracts because I faced many issues related to payment, customer satisfaction and my own .
00:32 facts 🤦🏽♂️ This is exactly what happened with me like a few weeks ago, at the end, i honestly felt like decking that client in the throat but i just had to keep my cool. Thanks for this vid tho, its a real eye opener
Hey man, found your video while feeling the burn of the bad side of a project gone wrong. Currently trying to figure out how to best formulate everything for my business here in Portugal. :-) Thanks so much for all the things you've shared on this video. :-)
Hi Mitchell, It's very useful video but trust me it's not so easy to find it again. I've tried to type "videography contracts" "videography photography contracts" "videography photography contracts make easy" and on third one I've managed. It's such a shame to struggle to find this because it's worth to watch it. Anyway, all best mate 😁
Hi! If you sign up for the free honeybook trial they have similar contract templates that you can use and edit and you can always cancel the trial before you are charged. I'm not comfortable giving out or selling mine since I'm not a lawyer or anything. Hope you understand! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for subscribing! I don't have a link to my contract because I'm not a lawyer and wouldn't want to put out a contract that may not be perfectly legal, but if you need a good place to start the honeybook trial has free templates to get you started and you could even copy them into your own doc and then cancel the trial 😆 just saying!
Good question! On Honeybook's contracts you can put those input fields that your client is required to fill out when they review it before they can sign the document. Super useful and makes it easy to make sure you get all the info you need. 👍
@@MitchellLosey did you start with a template for your wedding contract on honeybook or from scratch. Just started a trial was thinking about monthly but struggling to get a contract like yours. Thanks
@@hunterzeiner991 I think I made mine from a combination of free ones that I found online as well as the honeybook templates. I just took the parts that I liked that applied to my situation to get the one I have.
how do you get them to sign the contract? n person? or do you send it out to them and ask them to electronically sign it, if that's the case how do you do that? Thanks for your great and informative video.
I actually subscribe to Honeybook and you can really easily send project proposals with the contract with it and then the clients can read it over online and sign it electronically. They can also send the payment through Honeybook, too, but then there's a 3% card fee. Still worth it in my opinion for the convenience for both me and the clients. Otherwise, I've heard of people using Adobe sign. Or you can have them print the contract, sign it, and rescan it and send it to you. 👍
Unfortunate that this channel seems to have been abandoned. This video is extremely well presented. I appreciate your matter of fact, informative manner and the only disappointing thing about the channel is how sparse it was.
@@MitchellLosey Lightroom tips, any other legal advice, do's and don'ts of client/photographer etiquette, pricing models. Just some things off the top of my head. I appreciate the response and I'm happy to hear you're wanting to work on more videos, you do them well!
I wish more photographers gave full copyright release. I’m sorry Karen it’s 2022 I’m not paying you to have the honor of shilling your brand and asking permission to print out or edit the wedding photos that I again paid you to take. Not just weddings too. The amount of audacity I’ve seen boudoir photographers have to claim they can do whatever they want with photos of you is astounding especially with contracts from pixieset.
As a beginner I'm immensely grateful for this vid. 💯
Glad it was helpful!
You made something that's rather confusing, into something clear and understandable. Thanks so much for the info!

How do you do the auto populate section of the contract?
Awesome video, thank you so much!
Thank you sir

A lot of help, man!
gosh I wish I found this video 2 months ago! I had a client underpay me since non of us ever brought up money. Was super awkward.
Nice video mate where are you from :) Like your style of doing vids
Very basic question - how did you do the “replace text” thing for individual’s names/addresses etc? What’s that called? 😅

Hey, where in wisco are you? Im based out of Kenosha, Wi.
I'm in the Milwaukee area
Excellent. Well we should connect and establish contact and website details.
Do you have a template for this contract????
I went to that website all the contracts are over $300 wow
What NAICS code do you use if your both a photographer and a videographer? I cant figure it out
I think 541921 covers pretty much most photo and video type work. Google it and double check for yourself. 👍
Do the videographer sign the contract too or just the bride and groom?
Yes, you sign after they sign
@@MitchellLosey thank you
the first 1min was literally my life story lmao
sent you a DM on IG.

Is there a way to use your videography contract from that website and just adjust it the way I need to?
