    I just found your channel and it brought so many memories. When I was little my grandma taught me how to knit and she didn't know how to crochet but promised to learn in order to teach me.     For a man.. 23" head. Do you think the 46 chain would better than the 42 chain?

    I find that your piece always looks like it's losing stitches when you use sc/hdc (or two stitches of diff heights). Because one side always starts with sc, and the other hdc, the sc side pulls in more.

      I think the end result turned out great. Edging is finished in this design. Of course you could always make it all in one or the other I just love the look of alternating.
