Go watch 1991: The Year Punk Broke! Some of my all time favorite Sonic Youth & Nirvana performances of all time, as well as many others. That film changed my life! Another great choice. I’m not a drummer (although, being a bassist, I admire what you guys do) and you always choose the drummers that have stood out to me
Another great episode. An excellent deep dive into his style and technique . Really shows how he kept tge groove even in the more improvisational and experimental songs. Dont know if you've covered him alreadt but Devo's Alan Meyer had a great ability to keep it funky and danceable even in tricky time signatories like their version of Satisfaction. He was Devo's secret weapon
Cobb, you are making cool videos. Keep going! As a drummer, i can advise you second album of the band "Gang of four". Drums in there sounds kinda interesting
Great video! Just listened to daydream nation recently and then this came out, great drumming. Hope to see a vid about ian paice or maybe even britt walford if were lucky!
Great video! Would you ever do one on Janet Weiss from Slater Kinney? She's a huge inspiration for me and I love the way her grooves are asymmetrical yet flow so well

Steve is my favorite drummer.
Nice. Steve Shelly really did a lot for Sonic Youth's sound and vibe.

Gang of Four would be a fun one to talk about! Great suggestion 🥁

Nice video indeed! I've always loved the tom tom parts and the fills in "Incinerate", they're a blast to play.
Dope, Steve has lots of great beats that involve having the snares disengaged. Schiz, Unmade Bed ect…
what a great video once again about my favorite drummers/bands. Tx ! Did you do a video about the drummer of Shellac already ?
very good mate!

Would love to see a breakdown of Amy Farina, particularly her stuff with The Warmers
Please do a video on Alfonso Andrés of caifanes🙏🙏🙏
Can you do a video on Britt Waldord of Slint and breeders?
Do you want to join a band
