If this game is successful not only will it set a new precedent for game development, but CIG will make a fortune selling their engine to other game development companies.

Can't wait for 3.23 to launch. I'm currently downloading the fourth or fifth installation of the EPTU and I wasn't able to play any of them, yet. Because CIG in their wisdom disabled copying accounts. At this point I think they can get away with everything, because the people who care lost interest and those who are fanboys anyway will always be cheering.
I don't have Tobii, and I really hadn't thought about getting it, but I think now, for fullest immersion, it might it might be worth the expense. And I suppose I'll also need an ultra wide monitor. And, come release, a new computer.
I know I am prob looking to far into it and base this a bit on hope.... but if there working on AI interaction and Malestrum in Sq 42 maybe it's in for Sq 42 and would need a port next patch!!

I was able to hunt the Kopian on Microtech where they were moving. It was a LOT more fun, and a little scary to have them hunting you as you hunted them.
2:40 Because you play the part of someone who is in the military, they have a unique way to limit your presence in certain high security areas after your interaction is complete as a way of maintaining the pace of the story. If you are called to the bridge or linger after the briefing to eves drop on the flag officers discussion, you can be told. "That is all"... or "I'm sure you have something pressing to do... do you not?". If you linger to the point of getting those messages... your reputation takes a hit. Linger longer and you may wind up either having security prevent you from entering that area again or even find yourself in the brig for a time... and a further reputation hit. This game needs to have plenty of "F-around and find out".
By the time this game was in making i finished my collage... worked 3 years in market... afk for 2 years in covid unworking.... found new work.... spend 3 years in new work.... ... still waiting for game.... (in my hangar i have items from 2016....)
Similar situation myself, 2015 is when I backed, IIRC. Only just started putting serious time into the PU these past couple months. Huge server issues and bugs, but it is still an impressive game. Hoping 3.23 and beyond continues to be fun. If SQ42 delivers, I'll consider my money earned. And if server meshing is all it is claimed to be, I'll continue to buy into this games development. Exciting times ahead if that works out. It is really unfortunate we have had to wait so long though. Feels like half my life ago when I backed this, haha.
Until the devs get mass problems fixed, the game will continue to suffer. Take the ruins being shot at as just one simple example, each piece of that destroyed rubble has weight, or should. Now giving everything proper weight and the associated characteristics is impossible and very impractical due to computer power, the problem still exists in Star Citizen, mass/weight is not properly displayed in nearly all aspects of the game. Space flight and ship combat suffers from improper ship mass and how that mass reacts in both space and atmosphere. In 3.23 it is still very bad. This coupled with how ships scale to one another in combat size wise and in sight picture in close quarters flight combat makes the current flight model garbage in both visual cues and practical gameplay. Having to rotate or flip in space to bring your nose on target in an "upright" position is insanity in space. In atmosphere that is fine per actual flight models, but in space, a ship is just mass, there is no "best" attitude except that of main thrust. The big problem is devs eyeballing what a ship will do in space and use atmospheric flight rules in space. Tie this all together with mass not being applied correctly in space or atmosphere, ship to ship scale not being displayed properly in combat, or the environment in flight, and we have the current mess that is the 3.23 flight model.
