- Our local TV station in Utica, NY interviewed Belinda Carlisle & Jane Wiedlin when they were in town during the Talk Show tour in July, 1984.

Belinda and Jane were the hottest of the GoGos , I always liked Jane a tad better because I like brunettes, but I think that's the hottest I've ever seen Belinda look when she was talking in the interview, I miss the 80s, I remember them well and I always wished being 10 yrs older even back in the 80s. I would've been 8 yrs old when that interview took place, every Summer we always went to Panama City ,FLA for 2 weeks, never will be another decade like the 80s

There is something so cute, endearing about their ambitiousness here.
I distinctly remember hearing on MTV News in late 1984 or early 1985 about Gina Shock's heart surgery.

@coldbluerain They all did drugs on their own volition, I don't think belinda pointed a gun to anybody's head and made them do it. Besides, have some respect, if it wasn't for Belinda, this band wouldn't have never been so popular.
@TheNewMusicNetwork She did use heroin. She admited it in Behind the Music. She said she used heroin and then she would use something like cocaine to make her pupils larger.
Wow Jane's got a little girl voice in this interview, I actually came across her solo stuff before hearing the Go-Go's :D loved that "Tangled" album cover ;) it was also gret to see her in the movie 'Clue' even though she didn't get to even finish her singing telegram, poor girl :'( No wonder Professor Plum had an affair with her.
Induct these talented musicians into the ROCK AND HALL OF FAME!! Only ALL Female Band, Song writers Paved the way for punk bands like Greenday. First #1 Album All Female Band. C'mon Kennedy Center Honors! They weren't even in the Top 40 Punk Band Rolling Stone. Travesty!!
