I feel ya, family time vs hunting time!
But as your kids get older and they go hunting with you its truly amazing.
-also, my hunt is in 3 weeks and already stressing about gear and packing. The night before is total chaos, wife is bewildered and of course cannot help with anything 😂😂.

Man I hear ya on the stress level with family. Leave in 3 days and don’t feel like I’m close to ready…if I’m working on gear or shooting bow I feel terrible that I’m not with wife and kids. If I’m with wife and kids, I’m stressed that I’m not doing what needs to be done. Seems to always work out though and I’ve never regretted the time with family!

It hurt my soul when Trail was on the phone and said going on a destination hunt and driving ten hours lol it’s 27 hours of driving from my house in Tennessee to my unit in Idaho 😭😂

lol shit I thought my trip to northern Idaho from northern Nevada was bad. It takes me 13.5 hours straight shot that’s nuts that Tennessee is only twice the drive. I’m in the state that borders Idaho and it still takes me 13.5 to 14 if I stop

How do yall like the marsupial Bino harness? I bought some super big abbe Koenig binocs and need a new harness now. I have the Sitka one currently and it’s nice but there is some things I don’t care for and it can’t fit the new glass

I take a laxative 1 week before my hunt so I can shit out a bunch of weight. I def save a few pounds of overall weight
Last season I added two packs of chicken to a small bag of fritos for a nice crunchy midday meal
