    I thought I understood this method well, but you gave a aha moment when you tied the lefthand string and then started to fiddle with the tension. I usually pulled from right to left until there was no more give in the string and the warp too tight. Thank you very much.🎉🎉

    Glynis, thank you so much for this video. I have tried this technique in the past and couldn't really see any advantage but thanks to your excellent explanation I can see where I was going wrong.

    I’ve never seen anyone do this, hence I have never tried it. Does this work on cotton as well as wool? Thank you!

      Hi Pam - absolutely. it works on any fibre - in fact my little demo is cotton.....
