+Jennifer Dellinger He died unexpectedly from an enlarged heart and fatty liver. It was speculated at first that he died from a blood clot in his ankle then later that alcohol was involved but it was never confirmed that alcohol was the cause of the cardiomyopathy and fatty liver.

Along with Elliot Yamin and Adam Lambert , Johns was perhaps one of THE best male artist that didn't 'win'. His rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody is among the best...my ears have ever heard. Farewell to a gifted singer who has left us way too soon.
When I found out I had just seen my mom after 4 months of not seeing her and both her and i stopped our whole conversation and mourned. We both voted for him and we both have his album. This is truly a tragedy. The special person in my life and I will always hold his song Hold Me in a special place in our hearts.
This audition moved me more than any other. I can't wait for the single. And much, much more from Michael! (from Sapporo, Japan, where we're just going into the Top 20 episode)

to this date, this will alwyas be THE BEST idol season. the talent was CRAZY. the contestants unforgettable. there were so many great performances too. this one, jason castro brooke white and of course the davids.
This was the only season of American Idol that I watched. He was my fav. But after he was eliminated I went for David Cook and cried when he won. But I couldn't forget Michael's Bohemian Rhapsody performance, I loved it.
Oh, that's when I started to love him. Did an awesome job with his new album. I recommend the songs Heart on my sleeve and Life is okay ( a duet with fellow contestant Brook Whites)... AWESOMENESS... and the accent makes it even better. Right girls! Go MJ!
Michael Johns hope someone helps you out with a recording contract. Remember: You are talented, one of the top this season. All comes down to how many folks call in for you....some idol contestants have newspapers in several cities printing "ads" asking for people to support a local idol. On any given night, could have been any one of the contestants who had to step down. ALL of you are very talented. Best wishes.
