I love, love bracelets so I went online & ordered loads of cord after watching this video. I am working on the 1st tutorial, I will move on to the 2nd once I have watched it again. Thank for sharing this super cool video - a very delighted Londoner, x
i woke up today wanting to make a bracelet and then i saw this tutorial! i made the first one.. love it :) thanks for the tutorial! i want to note that the curb chain should be a little longer than the rhinestone chain because they got shorter as i was threading them w/ the rhinestones (since the spacing of the stones were closer than the spacing of the links).
the chains have jump rings attached at the top of them and jumprings/lobster clasp at the end.use the cord to tie the two jump rings at the top together.your cord should now be in two 'sections' seperated by the knot.the short end should only be a few inches long at the most, ignore that strand.the second part should be the rest of the length.start on the left chain going under and up the 'hole' the chain had then go down and through the 'hole' of the second chain and repeat. hope this helped :)
I don't recommend tape for this particular project. The best method (for me at least) is holding the chains up, otherwise the chains will turn. Something better than tape is to use a clip board ;)
I would use twist-ties that are usually on bread bags or string to tie the bracelet off in sections so that it doesn't twist while I make it. This could also make it easier to hold the chains together.
LOVE!! Just saw I Spy DIY on a rerun of Martha yesterday (which means she'll prob be on today too!) & she talked about her bracelets. Some chain is going to make/sell them, I think.
I made the first bracelet and I absolutely love it but i did have to use some superglue.. one tip is while making the first one, always keep one hand (thumb and pointer finger) holding the top jewel:) also getting the knot at the bottom is a bit difficult
Thank you sooo much for the tutorial and exact materials and where to buy them from! :D other pple dont do tht,and it makes it difficult to get the exact look withoutthe samematerials. Thanku a ton, im going to try both of these soon too! :))
these are beautiful!!!! The second one is my favorite!

I get them from all the stores I listed below the vid =)
I am about to go craft store crazy tomorrow!! I enjoyed both tutorials.
yes... I've seen them in both store. Sorry if it didn't seemed clear. It was b/c the methods were very much alike to the first. =)
I really love how these look, hopefully mine will come out the same
Do the same thing, it's like a mirror image. You can also flip it over. Just remember under-out, over -in.
Yes I did, I said it's the same thing as the first side I demonstrated. I didn't think it made sense to show the same thing again.
i love the 2nd design..it looks soo cool!
it's difficult to hold the chain in a steady position but the lacing is very easy to do ;) materials are on the bottom of the videos =)
i absolutely LOVE your DIY's please continue to upload videos of DIY's !

for the chains to stay in place and not get mixed or out of shape, it's better to hold the up and have the fall down.
I LOVE YOUR BRACELET DIYS
My cords do shed. You see it more with the darker colors. It's going to happen when you're weaving but after that it wll stay put.
yes... it's like looping around :)
Love the first design!
