Tried it last night during a beer league game and some guys have a nasty shot and didnt fell any stingers. Probably not a pro level chest but these guys shoot pretty hard and i didnt fell any stingers .. so a win on protection for me. A bit bulky but will get better while breakin in.
Hey, sorry I took so long to respond, I was 5 foot 7 inches when I purchased this and have grown to 5 foot 9 inches and this unit still fits. The adjustable arms allow for a bit of wiggle room, but with the senior medium that I wear, it fits my 71 inch wing-span. Thanks, I hope this helps!
Awesome review Tendy Nolan. How long have you been wearing this one? Those wear points from the strap connections look like they will rip through the material pretty quick.
Sorry I took so long to respond, I purchased this unit around April, and I don't have an exact date, but that is an approximation. The wear that was shown in this review has not gotten worse, at least from what I can tell, so although it is unfortunate that these wear points exist, they have not seemed to have worsened. Although the Reactor 6000 is technically a higher level chest pad, I don't think that you're losing any protection if you choose this chest protector. This chest protector has served me very well, with very few stingers. However, it may depend on the level of play that you're playing at. Also, a new version of the bauer elite chest protector just came out, it looks very similar to the chest protector in the video but may have improved protection.

I agree with the floaters because I used to use warrior and it had little floaters but these floaters give more mass and I’m short nice review 👍🏻
