    For some reason I cannot sit through 5 mins of bear gryls shows and thats odd to me because I’ll literally binge watch survivor and alone like it’s the office

    you didn't mention Ed Stafford's Naked and Marooned which by far is the best survival show I have ever seen.

    Met Bear in the scouts, really nice man not sure if the show is staged at all but je does know his stuff even if it is

    Just for your information at the very least, regards to naked and afraid is fake, same with what you just said about it.

      Yeah. After a week in the show they are literally skins and bones

      There are some aspects that are staged. But most of it is "real" in the sense that those people are actually there struggling.
      But an example of staging, in one episode a team of 4 had to make a raft and paddle two miles out into the ocean for rescue.
      A whole bunch of dried and cut bamboo just "happened" to wash up on the beach right next to where they're camping
