I feel like if the ‘seam’ on the sole was sanded down, it’d be less liable to pull up. As in, the raised part of the red rubber that meets with the red sole. If that part had been sanded to a taper, it’d sit more flush to the sole, so it wouldn’t get snagged. Still aside from that, this is amazing.
finding wearable vintage shoes like this is truly an accomplishment, as much as restoring them is. many of the shoes from the victorian era are marveled at for being so small, but the reason that they're so small is because they were the pairs nobody could wear. everything larger, therefore wearable, was worn until it fell apart and then discarded.

@@RepairStudio 한국분이셨군요 영상 잘봤습니당 😅😅
감사해요 😄👍🙏
Let’s take a moment for all the fav shoes that could have been saved 😔
Is it just me or does this feel like the Toy Story 2 scene when they restore Woody? Pretty satisfying
Think that was why he had over 600 dislikes? In another comment he replied and said he forgot to show it when it was done.
had to crack a window because the smell of this video was so strong
Wow, you brought new life to these shoes! I didn't know people like you still existed. Keep up the good work 🙂
Thanks! 😀
The sound of the scissors cutting was so satisfying I shivered. 😊
finding wearable vintage shoes like this is truly an accomplishment, as much as restoring them is. many of the shoes from the victorian era are marveled at for being so small, but the reason that they're so small is because they were the pairs nobody could wear. everything larger, therefore wearable, was worn until it fell apart and then discarded.
They really said “I’m getting my money’s worth” lmao damnn sis
Honestly did not think it was going to be able to be repaired to that condition. Wow!!
thanks Ay Mi Gente🙏
Beautiful job!
I legit thought that they just used a paint for the red soles, it never occurred to me that they would use leather but it makes sense.
Aah. . . The only time I feel refreshed by just listening to the sound of sharp scissors. Let's hear it again.☺
Thanks for your comment, Midnight🙏
@@RepairStudio It's the truth and I love your scissors now. You're welcome! 😊You did a great job with this. Please do more shoe makeovers. More power to you! God bless!
알고리즘? 갑자기 나에게 이걸 보여주는 이유는?
who watched before going to sleep? video is perfect 👌🏼
Какое наслаждение, видеть что было, а стало,,,,, и это сделали Ваши руки!!!!!Браво, маэстро!!! ❤️❤️❤️
After watching this video, I can confidently say ALL my shoes are gonna have red bottoms. Even my chanclas!
😄🙏👍😆
When I was growing up, chanclas were for giving us kids red bottoms.
@@WorkHardBeNice LMAO
💀😂
What is the red thing? Could you please tell me what material this is?
In our society where we tend to treat all our belongings like single-use trash, I love seeing restoration videos like this. It just goes to show that even beat up items can be made useable again if we take them to a professional.
Beautiful! We need more people in this profession! I have a couple of expensive shoes (not by any means as expensive as these but to me they were a lot of money) and I want them to last me a lifetime! I don't have money to buy a new pair all the time. This profession is important.
Absolutely, it's kinda like watchmakers they used to be a more common and important trade. But so many things are disposable these days. Support your local cobbler, they're probably having a rough go right now, along with alot of other ' non essential' business.
God I love the sharpness of the scissors.. sounds so good. Great job as always, I wish I had these shoes!
@blackclouds99 always 🙏🙏
Am I the only one that thought in the thumbnail they were holding lungs- 🤧
same haha
I thought it was stuffed bell peppers
@@Chefrawginger I-
same and i was confused until i read the title lolll
Me too
So interesting to see how these shoes are restored. Beautiful job.
Thanks Terri 🙏🙏
Honestly the best part was seeing the leather soak up all that moisture like it was Spongebob in Sandy's treedome
The only thing running through my head this entire video was the lyrics walk a mile in these Louboutins
Wow those shoes had seen their day, but you managed to breathe new life into them! Bravo! This looks like a really fun job to have
I’m so glad someone did a video on the restoration of women’s shoes. There are so many for men.
Watching this was therapeutic!! This man has a skill, I’ll defo be using your service for my shoes.
Thanks for watching this video, Jaya Hypnotherapy🙏
How can people dislike this! You’re an artist
Thank you TheRedEquinox🙏
I have found my most favorite RUclips channel and videos, this is amazing.
🙏🙏
This guy is a artist, so amazing.
Thank you JanetsPlanet🙏
Why am I getting tingles watching a shoe repair.. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I guess she walked through the entire Rome with those shoes.
They're obviously very comfy
11:55 when you're satisfied with your work, then you realize you have to do it all over again!
much easier&faster without camera😆😆
I love how they include instructions as if I’m not just here for the ASMR or as if I casually have well worn Louis Vuitton shoes laying around
It somehow makes me happy to see that the owner really must have loved these shoes and wore them so much
This guy is an artist! Beautiful job! Congratulations!
Thanks for your comment, grasies🙏🙏
what a well loved pair of shoes! seeing them repaired like this, especially compared to the original at the end, kind of paints a story of the life they must have lived. Thank you for sharing.
Seeing as I tend to wear sneakers myself... I need a pair of red patent leather converse now. xD
😆😆👍
Man, I swear Converse is the answer to anything.
Absolutely love these shoes! Style, color, heel hgt. Great job repairing!
Thanks for your comment, Greatgranny🙏🙏👍👍😊😊
very nice work. I was always told kiwi is bad for supple leathers but those turned out beautifully,
Them shoes ugly, but nice job.
True, a lot of designer clothing is ugly to me
💀💀💀
Those types of shoes always burned my eyes lol
😂🤣 my first thought
Ikr that’s one hideous pair of shoes which is a surprise to me since I love most louboutin shoes. This must be from the archives lol
i really don’t know why youtube recommended me this, but i loved
At the first. This shoes reminds me of any old secondhand shoes. And its so crazy and really dont nessery to buy so expensive shoes and boots at the first
