I honestly think that it’s just another dumb stereotype. I’m a teenager and I consider myself pretty happy and pretty much all of my peers are also happy. I also have friends who are teenagers in other asian countries that I met online and they’re pretty happy too. So either it’s a dumb stereotype or it’s a western thing
