Typical Police putting faith in their statistics. How many men do you think actually want to admit to being mentally and physically abused by, "The little woman." What happens if a man did go to a Policeman, and most don't because of the ridicule given to them. The unspoken looks and thinly veiled accusations of being a whimp, for letting a woman do that to you. The most often comments given are, " Are you under the thumb mate?" Or " I wouldn't let my Mrs do that! I can keep her under control!" All of course with all the pre requisite caring words. But it's no joke having a bottle smashed over your head, fingers broken , being hit with a hammer, or sliced as a knife is thrust at you, because, "Well you shouldn't make me angry when I've got a knife in my hand. Sitting behind the door while an axe is being used on it to get at you. Even when you get your face scratched, to stop you looking attractive to, the imaginary other women. Everyone gives you looks that clearly mean you got what you deserved. Your girl or wife got their own back on You! What do they know, what they think or do is irrelevant to you, so you don't tell them the truth you lie, which makes you look even more guilty. You go to an Xmas works do and was told you had to follow her wherever she went, even to the toilet. You duly waited outside till she comes out. When you go to fetch the drink, out come the accusations. "Why did it take so long, who was you Sh***ing!" You've only been at the bar, you could seen! It's literally been 5 mins. But they couldn't see you! There's no possible answer you can give that satisfies, so an argument ensues. On the outside, she's defended and you accused, of being obviously controlling, Jealous, not leaving her for a minute even following her to the loo!! You're beat you know it Why try to explain. With her playing innocent, butter wouldn't melt, whose going to believe me... a man any man. Of course you have to leave your job and get another now, one that she approves of. The amount of young men that will butt into an argument having already made their mind up what kind of man you are. You must be a whimp starting on a helpless woman. Women beaters are whimps come on and take me on they say, try fighting a man! Then when you put them on their a*se, automatically its OK, you're not a woman beater, No abuser could hit like that. and then they slope off. Abused men have nobody to stand in their corner, nobody to talk to, no help to get out of the abusive relationship. They are truly alone, in a dark place with only their child to keep them alive or else why carry on. Nobody believes, nobody cares and to everybody else, you aren't the abused, You Are the abuser. Why bother! She sits their like sugar wouldn't melt in her mouth and all the people around her and you will happily Tell any enquirer, that You wouldn't leave Her alone. Even when you went out you rushed home to make sure She wasn't having s*x with the postman, milkman or coalman and nobody will believe otherwise. As men we are instantly guilty. I wonder how many simply commit suicide as a way to get out. You haven't a hope in H*ll in convincing those outside your walls that in fact you are innocent of all accusations. Even writing this now I know the majority will not believe. But there are men i know that will understand because its happening to them now. Meanwhile the Police take more time on Female abuse and Not simply Abuse on Men and Women. I'm not trying to say abuse on women is any less than on men, just that society has decided what kind of man is abused and how serious it is. Why don't you talk more about abuse on men its the unseen unnoticed crime some will even believe if a woman is abusing a man HE Must deserve it. When will the police realise abuse on men is way higher than their Statistic, most men are too ashamed to admit it in the first place and nobody believes them in the second. Maybe another day someone will talk about Male Rape, how many men admit to that? Does anybody care? Of course not they are all whimps. You've already made your mind up. Exactly why men don't complain!
Wow just wow. I just want to say to any men watching this if you live in Lincolnshire and are suffering this kind of abuse then don’t report it to Lincolnshire police. I made this fatal mistake and was told by the officer that came out it was my fault for not leaving. Oh yes and sexual coercion is not a crime amongst many other things. There a complete joke
