    I am a FL Studio user. Yours is the first video that I watched to get started with Cubase. And I understood it 100% in just 1hour - because of your clarity and your teaching pace. I must say that Cubase is very organized and more intuitive with reference to composing music. P.S. And yes, I subscribed to your channel. Have a Blessed day, Craig.

      I moved from fl too , it’s great but I could never get the sound right but cubase sounds right every time

    • @adelly.s
      @adelly.s Год назад +3

      I’m also switching from FL Studio. The way things are organized on Cubase helps me a lot to focus on the music instead of managing the mess of patterns and channel rack entries.

    • @sanjaycolaco
      @sanjaycolaco Год назад +1

      @@adelly.s Yes, sometimes patterns can get messy (especially when there are lots of patterns). I still have to learn how arranging is done in Cubase. Personally, I liked the "Orb composer" and "Captain Plugins" kind of workflow - where ideas are arranged in separate blocks and then you just arrange the blocks to compose your whole song. Cubase doesn't have patterns instead it has "versions". You create different versions for the instrument part and they are neatly tucked underneath. P.S. FLStudio is also good. But as you said, Cubase helps us to focus on everything in one view - much better.

    Props for having the best Cubase tutorial I've seen yet. Easy to follow and straightforward.
    I just want to add that Window's "High Contrast" mode is causing problems with the menu bar in Cubase. The bar will stop working after you click on a few things, such as Studio settings. Google had mostly old postings with people blaming Nvidia Cards. Turns out you have to turn off High Contrast to use Cubase; Left Alt+Left Shift+Print Screen to turn it on and off. It's the kind of thing you never would have guessed.

      Many professionals consider it a top DAW, but a big reason why it isn't talked about that frequently among everyone else (compared to Ableton etc) is that it is much more difficult to pirate (and required a dongle prior to 12).

I didn’t know about understanding the (Read and Write buttons) until today. You also showed me some things about using Groove Agent that was wonderful as well. You taught me a few other tricks too. Thank you so much for sharing this video with us today. You are an excellent teacher. The various DAW companies should be paying you for teaching us how to use the various recording software. I wish you continued success with all of your musical endeavors. I am also looking forward to watching many more of your video. You had a video out before on using the Flexphraser in Steinberg”s Halion but, for some reason it was taken down. I wish you would do another video on that topic because I still don’t know how to use the Flexphraser and I want to learn it so bad. I understand how to find the various sounds but, I don’t know how record the patterns into my Cubase projects. I am at a lost for that.
