      Ohh boii... Thanks man I am a great fan of yours, been following you for years. When your comment came as a notification I thought that you released a new video about 9.1 coming out soon lmao

      @@strategydux woah, small world! I’m playing loooads of RTW these days. Only played Rome when I was a kid, so now it’s time to get stuck into the other factions. Hah might be a bit before 9.1 :P

      @@BellularGaming Yea I've saw you recommending Rome Remastered with your "survival" video until 9.1 hahah. Since you are looking for new factions I can also recommend either Egypt (easier start) or Selucids for pure "total war" experience (everyone will attack you on the start)

    First thing… I like your accent.
    Second thing, your strategy guide is pretty good, even for beginners.
    Roma delenda est, as soon as possible. Personally, being a madlad, I usually take all my mercenaries early game and bring them to Iberia to conquer the whole peninsula, i recruit Numidian mercenaries along with some light early game troops to immediately deal with Numidia and storm Sicily with that small main army.
    All at the same time all the way.
    It can become hectic and I don’t recommend it to players that aren’t confident in their abilities to make do on the run with what they have, but once you conquer Numidia and Spain, you are way stronger than you’ll ever need to fight Rome, while having put pressure on them. Conquering the main Brutii regions is a given and you are right about the need for gtfo gigantic stacks: I used to fight that Senate army with a really good one (elephants, heavy cavalry on the wings, 2 or 3 sacred bands and a shitload of Lybian spearmen to hold the line) and I used to always take so many losses… My god, you had to pull out and return later with an army to continue. So I proceeded to use the horde tactic myself. And it works, at a steep price, but it works

      HAhaha thanks for the comment bro :D Yea it is always a challenge to fight a script faction. But once you clear them tbh there is no stopping you

    I appreciate you incorporate merchants into Carthage plays, hence their origin. I had another way, autoresolve only. It worked back in vanilla, not sure if it worked for remastered:
    1. All troops excluding Hispanics and Balearic Isle must concentrate at Lilybaeum. Leave Hasdrubal and Burrhus be.
    2. Abandon Karalis. The immensely slow growth rate is not worth it. Milk the settlement 3 turns before it become rebel.
    3. Make alliances with Spain and/or Numidia. It will stall their aggression for a while. If one or 2 of them attack, your force can easily defend.
    4. Wrestle Syracuse from the Greeks ASAP. This will serve as a diversion, an infantry base to fare against the Scipii.
    5. If the Greeks offer peace, agree and trade with them again. Then take Messana. If done right, you can take the settlement and still isolate the standing Scipii army.
    6. Build your ships and sink the Roman vessels. Groups of 4 bireme or even trireme work. The latter should only patrol Africa and Sicily.
    7. Unify Magna Graecia and isolate your enemies. Keep the Brutii at Epirus, thwart Numidian assaults but do not chase them. The Iberians in Spain can easily be isolated by taking the settlements on the Western side. That will cripple the enemy’s economy.
    8. Carefully take Capua and then sail to take the Julio’s settlements. Beware SPQR. They can easily reinforce Scipii and Julii.
    9. Defeat the rest.
    I chose to take Syracuse instead of letting the Romans declare war on it and then attack them. They will get Syracuse and will successfully defend it everytime. And you only get Messana. Do the above, you get both. Numidia is too far and not worth the trouble. The Spanish defending New Carthage is formidable. Don’t over expand.

    Hi started watching you for the merchants guides you had the clearest guides on how to use them. It would be cool if you could cover some other things like best ways to sink ships what influences that? The strange admiral mechanics and how it messes up merging fleets... effects of ranks on agents/merchants/diplo/generals and a look at the followers and how to manage them. Using the ecconomy to hurt the ai. Things like that really, perhaps a look at which buildings provide the most money. Just some ideas.

    Used this guide. It works well. Never thought about attacking Rome straight off the bat before. I declared war with Rome too early though so couldn’t get alliance with Nubia. Other than that it’s going well thanks great video.

    Hey could you make some videos on Rome Remastered hardest achievements?
    Like how to get the Religion Achivements and stuff like that.

    • @strategydux
      @strategydux  3 года назад +2

      Hey, I can look into it. Since I haven't done it myself yet I would have to make a good research. Do you have some other stuff in a mean while to ask for? I can try to make the top 5 hardest achievements in Remaster?

    • @_Azurael_
      @_Azurael_ 3 года назад +2

      @@strategydux Atm the 3 hardest achievements seem to be the religion ones. It's not clear what needs to be done.
      I did a Sass run, conquered half the world, while converting settlements and no achivement pop up. However, if the point is conquer every province, game will end before I convert the last one (game ends after last settlement is conquered).
      It's also hard due to turn limit in BI.

    • @strategydux
      @strategydux  3 года назад +2

      @@_Azurael_ hmm Well in that case maybe try to sell your province where you have 100% religion to your enemy or ally before taking their last settlements and than capture their and convert it fast hahaha :D. I'll have to check it. But could you try this please and tell me will it work

    • @_Azurael_
      @_Azurael_ 3 года назад +2

      @@strategydux dont think it Will work. AI is programed to instantly destroy temples they cant improve (and no One else is zoroastrian).
      So they might just reconvert to pagan / christian

    • @_Azurael_
      @_Azurael_ 3 года назад

      @@strategydux yeh religion is bugged... I finished the campaign. conquered every city and built a temple. Even made sure last city was already zoro before conquering (by planting 10 generals in its borders) and still no achievement.
