A small percent of MK comunity played MK4, an even smaller played MK Gold, you guys need to remember that most people will not catch references from these games, even if they played all the first classics, probably they never touched on MK4/Gold.
I just find out that Sektor was in MK Gold last year, and just because of this i got the reference.
Tbh, the games are great in quality, i think they just didn't had a lot of popularity does to being in 64 era, but doesn't fit well my playstyle, so i watched more gameplays about it then actually played it.

They were both of Bi Hans side, im sure one will turn good and one will follow (bi hans) noob saibots footsteps. But im not sure cause in the trailer we hear sektor say “what did havik do to you” with a concered voice, and then we also have sektor and cyrax fighting. 🤔
@@masko57 Maybe Sektor was down with following Bi-Han and storming the wedding, but then she sees him as Noob Saibot she'll be like "Yeah no, that's too much even for me"

Are “New” Sektor and Cyrax cyborgs or Iron Women?
From another of the intros between them, they're armor but only as "Phase 1". It looks like the Lin Kuei are still hellbent on eventually becoming brains in tin suits.

I hate it when people say they don't like cyrax and sektor just because they've been given a gender swap.
@Chris-fw5pl they do it all the time in video games and comic's giving some character's gender swaps.
@Chris-fw5pl it's been done in ratchet and clank rift apart rivet is ratchet's dimensional counter part and you have a serious problem with character's getting gender swaps.
Sektor has always been my favorite mk character. And I'll be honest, I don't mind the gender change.
@Chris-fw5pl the game didn't have much female character's to play with their's only sindel, mileena, Kitana, Tanya, li mei, nitara and Ashrah so it's a great change to cyrax and sektor.
I think they did it cause if you look at the DLC, its almost entirely dudes, so they probably figured 'well we're in a new timeline, just swap sektor and cyrax'
I haven't been excited for Mortal Kombat in years....And it still doesn't look exciting. At least I have the classics.
I’m back from my Cruise Break and I’m happy I’m back to see my Favorite MK Cyborg Return, again I don’t mind the Genderswap but I thought Sektor would’ve the Pulse Blades Back from Armageddon, Not a Freaking Gun, I guess she’s embracing her Inner Boba Fett, plus their Intros are Sick.

I have to say it’s oddly impressive that the gun is attached to a pair of mechanical arms it saves the trouble of trying to hold the weight of the gun
