I was surprised when I tried pairing Citlali with Arle. The normal attack damage, which was usually capped at 130k, skyrocketed to 250k. I built a party with double Pyro and double Cryo to keep Melt reactions consistent
in reality they are very similar, mavuika will have more burst damage, but it takes much longer to cast it (12sec), Arle is much faster only (5sec), this allows you to have the usual dps because of the early damage of Arle that starts much earlier. so in a few words mavuika is better where you can finish everything in rotation, Arle in multi-wave content and with more rotations as the bol mechanic comes into play.
@altaf_bakhtiar that's the top percentage of the first rotation. 95k for arle, 106k for mavuika. but by the second rotation Arle's dps went up to 111k and in the third to 120k (melt). so in multi rotation content he's better, because his damage is earlier and bigger

Arle instead will only have the animation of citlali, the rest have no burst animation because they are 4 stars in the melt team, citlali will steal 3 seconds the rest are only burst without animation 3 seconds to exaggerate. 5/6 seconds she will be ready to strike. (Melt team)
Even Hu Tao can one shot Raiden boss. It is not optimal comparison, but in Abyss or against Natlan 5-10 mil hp bosses C1 Arle is significantly better even than C1 Mavuika

She needs both of them to be on par with Arle

If you are going for arle than you should get her C2 because that would make her MUCH easier to use. Im her main at C6 and also pull mavuika yesterday, mavuika is much stronger than arle at C0 from my experience. But gameplay wise, i refer arle because she can delete enemy with her normal attack.

This is a nuke showcase but in actual scenario for Mavuika to be stronger than Arlecchino you need to have Xilonen, Citlali doesn't count cuz both Arlecchino & Mavuika can use her, technically Arlecchino can use yelan to vap instead of citlali but so can mavuika use furina to vape instead of citlali, Xilonen is the major deciding factor in whether your Mavuika is stronger than Arlecchino or not

Well here i think that nuke dps such as hu tao, arle, and now mavu are pretty much not much different, hu tao can kill a boss within 10 seconds, arle can do it in 7 seconds and mavu can do it in 5 seconds, the differences aren't that much, especially that if you consider most bosses on genshin doesn't have much hp/def and shield that can easily break for no reason. Remember this is not soul like game, it is just casual game where even the 4* character can deal huge number of pp if you build them right.
