- The day prior, when mentioning that we secured a "mega X" in the post caption, Matt Judy said that was putting bad juju on our hunt for the next day. Thankfully, he was wrong as we were able to put together a hunt with some of our new and old friends that will never be forgotten. Not only were we absolutely covered in honkers and mallards the entire morning, but Ben Commodore smoked an incredible quill before lightning struck again when Ashur Tolliver connected with a greenhead that was supposed to be on house arrest. These flying critters bring an awful lot of adventure, joy, and relationships to our lives!

You stayed in my hometown and ended up hunting right where I hunt. Please, please, please be discreet about the location. I launch my boat less than a mile from that field. You must have stayed and hunted after duck closed too? I thought I saw you down there scouting the last Friday of goose season. That field was still loaded with honkers the last weekend. In fact, a few of my buddies hunted it. Actually, I was by there yesterday and its STILL loaded with honkers. Love your videos and your content (just not when its so close to home, LOL).
Too late, I know exactly where this is and I just got permission for the roost. Going there tomorrow to shoot as many birds as we have ammo for. Also, told all my buddies and posted it all over waterFowl Facebook groups across the state.

I have been waiting for this video forever after seeing it on your Instagram I have watched ever video of quill laker geese on RUclips and got lucky enough to take a really nice one and a banded goose on the same day but not even close to that caliber of a goose

I have one field I hunt regularly, a yellow lab shows up every time we start calling or shooting! We named him Gorge Masvidog after the UFC fighter 🤣🤣! He's definitely the same way. All fun no work, we also have to hold him in the blind! 😅😅
