      Thanks for making these events happen. I hope you can figure out ways to make it more profitable without selling out the soul of the event. Maybe that isn't possible, I don't know. Good luck figuring all that out :)

    thats so crazy that neither ethan nor gianni could stop dorian from passing given their strong guards and expertise (these guys have been at it for over a decade). really says a lot about dorian. good to see calestine back at it too.

    I trained with Dorian at W4R mma for
    Awhile. Never learned how to wrestle until I met him and his dad and couldn’t be more grateful for what they taught me. Happy to see he’s doing so well in this sport, kids a beast.

    Question. I know the Kid Dorian is obviously really good and crazy talented
    But do you think the mindset of “wrestling with Submissions” will eventually catch him out when the Level of Jujitsu Athletes improves in the finals. I’m really interested to know people’s thoughts, thanks 🤙

      In sub only I think some of the guys he beat at adcc would eventually get him. He's definitely very talented but we didn't get to see much of his submission game

      He dominated, and beat, guys with far more competitive experience than him at the highest levels.
      This young man is incredible, and if anything, he should perfect his wrestling/top dominance game, because it just worked against some of the best guys in the country.

      No, his dad trains him as well who is also a black belt. He's been training with his dad since birth lol. His dad deserves 99% of the credit, not B Team, even though B Team may have been some help.

    He’s a pretty good high school wrestler. Very good actually. But not blue chip/ elite. Goes to show how far wrestling is compared to grappling. This is a compliment for grappling imo as I think it has much further to go before athletes optimize

    Why are the trials rules different from the championship rules? I thought guard pulling was frowned upon?

      For the first 5 mins you can sit. After the 5 mins, no points, segment you are penalized for sitting to guard. See Lachlan tearing knees apart in the open weight in 2019 by sitting and fighting.

      I train mostly in my garage in Houston and my dad is a BJJ Black Belt and has been my coach since i started training.
      I cross train at several places Bteam is one of them.
      I address all this in a post pinned to my IG.

      150 mg trt two hours in the gym a day and an insane amount of food. I was big in my twenties though so muscle memory helped. When i show up on a real cycle it'll be obvious.

    What I see is an incredible athlete able to outwork dudes. Faster when he needs to be, stronger when that doesn't work and a 17 year olds gas tank. 99.9% scrambles, head down, diving in. it'll work until it doesn't. Congrats on this W though! Dad should let the kid talk though....
