Hi Tom, thanks a lot. As we speak I am playing your rendition and encounterd one minor flaw: after the E-chord it is not 4-2-2, but 4-2-1 (G#-note on the G-string).
I could be mistaken, but I think it’s correct because you slide back to the 2 from the 4 before playing the 1 as part of the E on the first beat of the next measure
Does anyone know which surf group originally played Tahiti please? It seems to be based on an acoustic instrumental called Tahitian Skies written by Ray Flacke and covered by Chet Atkins and others.
