- With increasing emphasis on patient-focused care, it follows that patients and caregivers should be included when priorities for research are being established.
Through a research study, Canadian pediatric researchers wanted to know what questions future studies should tackle. They asked patients, families and clinicians from across Canada to share their questions and uncertainties about pediatric IBD.
We wanted to identify the top unanswered questions - these questions are presented in this video here: cidscann.ca/pa...
However, some of the questions that were asked have answers! In this video series, we will look at answers to 3 of the most commonly asked questions about IBD:
1. Is there genetic testing for IBD?
2. How does IBD or IBD treatment affect puberty or normal development And,
3. How is colon cancer related to IBD?
