I used to only watch Naruto for the jokes and the fights. Growing up is realizing that the score, the symbolism, character development, and training arcs is what makes the show.

Destroying a priceless landmark like that castle! A true villain. Tsunade the legendary sucker! You can tell that she hasn't always had the best time by the way she reacts when something good happens. Most people would think "Oh yay!" Tsunade felt worried.
I started watching your videos from the Lee vs Gaara fight and I’ve been simultaneously watching through your new videos and old videos 😂 You do a really good job! For being new at this your videos, insight, and enthusiasm to learn about the series is a LOT better than other channels that have watched these shows for years! Training arcs are quite entertaining to me, perfect opportunity for world building. After all this searching they finally find where Tsunade is but Orochimaru got to her first And it looks like the three Sannin might be reunited at some point, after all the hype and comments about them it will be a very interesting moment.

He knows that guys pay attention to good looking girls that pose, so he created a jutsu that created attention towards him, even if it is completely inappropriate attention for a child. Basically, he groomed himself to be attractive to men so he gets "positive" reactions towards himself.
The thumbnail effects are a nice addition. They are very well done. I also like the salmon and blue theme of the reaction. Everything seems well focused & professional looking. It goes well with the current theme of the show. One thing to keep in mind, is whenever there's training, it's usually a stepping stone to something even bigger. There's no need to worry about that now. It's just to say that there's even greater things ahead. We've come a long way, but there's still a long way to go. I think Naruto's sexy jutsu is mostly a game to him. It's just a prank. He knows the technical details behind it, but he doesn't really understand the full implications of it. He knows it has amusing effects on the adults, but he doesn't fully comprehend why. I still think he's innocent to some degree. Otherwise, he wouldn't be calling Jiraiya the Pervy Sage. This arc doesn't yet have a lot of action in it, but I really enjoy the bonding moments. Naruto does a great job at showing relationships, and transforming characters, into human beings. The popsicle moment seems to be an especially unique moment, in an animated show, for me. Naruto has had a lot of tragedy in his life. Familial influences in his life are sparse. However, I think the moments with Jiraiya are just what he needed. Now, as for Tsunade, in other translations of the show, the subtitles called her "The Legendary Sucker". Personally, I think that makes more sense. In other words, she is easily swindled out of her money. She has particularly bad luck. It's to the point, that if she has a winning streak, it usually means that there's something wrong. The slot machine wheels showed cherries, a slug, and a snake.
I really enjoy this series so much and the training is some of the best parts in my opinion!! Love your energy level in your videos!! Much love always!! 🙂❤
finally we got a bit of an upbeat and light vibe after all the trauma we went through :D Gai forming a connection with Naruto was lovely and funny :D learning some more about Tsunade looks like she has her own issues, the Sannin are very far from your ideal role models :P Naruto's legendary gama wallet making an appearance too awesome :D finally some more training for our boy :) really like how this training is done its very intriguing and well thought out :) best moment Jiraiya bringing Naruto the popsicle thats iconic, the man does care even though he gives Naruto the tough love sometimes :) our boy is growing right in front of our eyes :) loved that little flashback to school days that was nice :)
Jiraya is 50/51 at this point of the anime.... kakashi is 26/27... remember ... Jiraya taught the 4th Hokage .. 4th Hokage taught kakashi .. Kakashi is teaching Naruto....
I like the mentor archetype I guess since Kakashi is another character I like. My favorite is Jiraiya, I knew when he was introduced he was one of those teachers that are more "show don't tell" and loved it. Even his flaws as heinous as they are, are sort of the message we all get from parents "Do as I say not as I do" but it's still just a dude doing his best to teach the next generation.

If I’m not mistaken there is a short stretch of filler episodes coming up somewhat soon and the last pretty long stretch of episodes of part 1 are also filler I’m pretty sure. Does anybody else find Shizune really annoying? I’ve always found her overreacting to anything Tsunade says or does really cringey and even though it’s meant as a joke, I don’t find it funny at all. [Spoilers ahead] She even becomes way more annoying in Shippuden when she starts preventing Naruto from getting out on missions outside of the village treating him like a secret weapons and snitching to the advisors on Tsunade’s back, at that point I was wishing for her to die on Pain’s invasion
