I think it is more of an economic measure, keeping the market stable, keep the plat bundles selling, keep the prizes up, not overflowing the market.
If it was to do about heath and addiction...there are 1000 other farming and rng parts of this game to adress.😮
If I remember right, it took roughly 10 minutes to complete an sp gargoyle's cry run and you got 3-5 splinters per run and one arcane energize costs 12 splinters which means you have to do at least 4 runs to get one arcane energize. You need 21 arcane energizes to get it to max rank, so with the worst possible rng you need to do at least 84 runs to get a max rank arcane energize. That would mean farming for a max rank arcane energize will take somewhere around 14 hours of with bad rng and this is excluding time in between missions.
If I remember not playing the game for the same reason the time was ridiculous, the scarlet game, that was a good farm, a world of difference
So 28h out of an entire month for 2 energizes... I dont see the problem here
@@Zawaito On Scarlet, it was easy to farm energize, I remember I managed to get 12 without struggling late 1 week because I didn't have a necra, I don't remember if it was Scarlet or Orphix, but you needed a necra to kill it, I could have gotten even more, maybe 12 more.
@@zowyck orphix back then necramech and necramech mods and requirments where hard to get nechramec streamline used to be expensive
@@zowyck i think it was orphix that needed necra
I just bought all the arcanes and plat, no burnout needed.
I'm sure that's what DE wants too lol.
If they really want burnout to stop, they should increase the efficiency of every farm in the game too. I'm talking eidolons, sp circuit, pathos clamps, murmurs, standing, profit taker, void traces, resources, endo, extractors, etc.
Reduce the farm time and increase the drop amount. One idea I shared is to guarantee legendary arcanes as a bonus for doing 5x3 or 6x3 eidolons. Maybe even let the players choose their rewards like circuit so every run counts. Eidolons are specifically annoying cause of the 1.5 hours between.
Adding a vendor that sells all arcanes for brilliant/ radiant eidolon shards is another one.
Well the problem with this statement is that once a player reached his goal like obtaining all plat bought cosmetics and stuff, they'd lose things to do. For example me, i have everything i ever wanted, now i just log in, log out. Well maybe we can say players trading since stuff are easier to get, well this come with 2 things to consider, first is that prices will drop, second is, people wont stack up millions of platinum. Maybe some will but most will not.
@@IsItFate I agree. The whole gameplay loop of warframe has always been focused on the grind and farming.
Changing things will have those consequences you mentioned, as well as ultimately lower their live player count, making the game seem less popular to investors.
It's a fine balance.
Everything I mentioned is just wishful thinking in the case that DE adds more grind at future endgame and lowers the grind from earlier releases (ie. Eidolons) to compensate.
I do see the big issue of having nothing to do eventually, but that's a wall every game and player will crash into. In the end, I can happily say that I've had a lot of good times in warframe, no matter what its future holds.
SP eidolon should not have bronze arcanes on drop table, the last one in SP should be gold or plat arcane
@@IsItFate heres hoping soulframe adds end game bosses that have more player skill involved
@@UpstageBeast But if the whole loop of WF gameplay is grinding, then there really is no cure to burnout - it is inevitable. If players won't burnout from the new arcane farm - they will from farming something else.
Lol. Combat burnout? Or add to platinum purchase? 🤣 I appreciate the take. But capping rewards does not combat burnout. Adding rewards I think does.
Playing the game for 2 hours removes burnout if you got what you need. But playing the game for 2 hours with 2 of the stiff you're farming for capped! just adds frustration
I think you are the first game tuber, that I have personally heard, that has expressed concern for personal health, since you are aware of the addictiveness of WARFRAME. I have learned to tell myself, "it's time to hang it up for the night, and get some sleep". Good on ya man. Good lookn' out.
You probably don't listen to many then because plenty of others in the space do advocate for not killing yourself playing
Warframe also becomes a lot more fun when you let yourself have fun. Like just roam around the any of the open worlds, helping out newbies with low level missions, or just redoing a fashionframe. Little things like that keep the game fresh and fun, especially if you're having bad RNG luck.
burnoit is a choice.. warframe isn't drugs yo.. its the people who treatbot as such.. and use it to profit.. >.> ..ijs.. your a doctor now too? some.of y'all streamers are getting g to emotional.. if you make to work it becomes work,
those sleepless nightsare CHOIICES, this is horrible that it sounds like your vlaming a game for your unhealthy choices..its not heroin bro.. wtf.. I been a long time fan but I think I have to unsub after that one, lawsuits for your own choices 🤣🤣, wow.. none of that made sense yo.. none..
Though I agree that people should know when to take a break I don't agree with punishing the masses for a minority of peoples actions.
@@maximillionthermidorfirefl4103 So this just seems highly nonsensical. You seem to equate addiction as requiring a substance to be put into the body. Gambling doesn't require any substance to be imbibed and yet there are gambling addicts. There are so many addicts, in fact, that ads for betting apps are required to have information on breaking the addiction. What caused this requirement? Lawsuits and legislation. There's an entire wave of research right now on the effects of video games on our brains. Multiple countries are passing laws about lootboxes and gacha mechanics. Why do you think we have full access to all drop table information for warframe?
Well, it all depends on Rng. If they really wanna prevent burnout, every farming thing should be like Citrine, so there is also a cap on the maximum number of hours you need to farm something. I already run like 100 zenith crown things and still yet to have all parts for protea. Also: why doesn’t lichens have a similar mechanic to corrupted hollow key? It’s a step in the right direction, but still need a lot of work to actually prevent burnout from Warframe
I Just want a pity system for nemesis ephemeras.
Completely agree with ya, and i'm glad both dante, kullervo and dagath have this mechanic, seems like they're going in the right direction but that also means they should start reworking some of the more abysmal farms like equinox and harrow
@@Zawaito yes they should.
And Sevagoth or Caliban🎉
I keep seeing citrine's farm brought up and i cant help but feel like maybe its just my crap luck or idk. The grind for her and her arcanes has been miserable compared to how quickly i blasted through the voruna farm. Maybe its just me but idk
If the rewards were less of a headache too grind and more rewarding there won't be burn out; for example Duviri, the max pathos clamps you get is 15 which doesn't even get you most items from the Duviri girl (I forget her name) let alone let you upgrade your weapons into incaron weapons. 3 runs for the chance at an item twice or two Incarons or an item and incaron. Artificially forcing caps always has a negative major impact.
So because of losers we can’t enjoy the game as fully as we want, I only really play 2 days out of the week and I spend hours on those days, I wanna be able to do as much as possible
Torn on the unlimited farming. I understand where they are coming from. But it's also the choice of the player that is doing whatever they want to do. Nanny rules and laws can be irritating. Heh and someone taking them to court because the game is addictive... Sad that I can see it happening in today's world.
It has happened.
Many games where people (who are at fault) are able to spin things in court so that they win absurd amounts of money by proving that the game was predatory.
Or in the case of some games...
FF11 being the most notorious, where the grind was so long players actually died irl.
Personally i think that instead of limiting how much players can farm in a month long event it might be better to just hold the event more frequently but shorter durations, would make people less desperate to farm all they can because they'll know when the next opportunity to farm them will be
i have the inverse problem in that i am so busy IRL that when i DO sit down to play, the RNJudas nearly always jams me up and i lose interest because of the time gateing that prevents me from getting what i want. i don't have weeks to sink into this, se when i get a long weekend, i want to power grind to have a hope in hell of getting the stuff i need. for example, i burned thru 22 relics to get a copper tier item... and didn't get it. THIS is the REAL burnout. so clamping rewards even further is just one more thing that makes me not want to play anymore.
If they limit event farming, they should make regular farming easier
I've always appreciated DE's emphasis on balance. It's definitely made some quests or items more difficult, but I have to keep in mind that I'm still wanting to play this game since launch over 8 years ago.
What ever you do or try, burnout is inevitable. The longer you do things repeatedly, burnout comes next. The only possible solution is weekly new things to do which will definitely be huge for your ssd or hdd. But it is the closest we have, otherwise, you'll inevitably get burnout off the game
It really sucks that I’m finally in a position where I could have taken advantage of an event like this to actually FINALLY EARN something I can sell for platinum, but now they are restricting me so that I can only sell ONE set of an arcane… like that really sucks.
Grinding Scarlet Spear was great and actually fun for me, besides the bugs. Then again the events since did take far longer with farming the same. Limitations to how much you can farm is fine, since it anyway is worse to farm now.
Scarlet spear was the best farm DE ever released. I got literally every eidolon arcane besides the commons such as "immune to toxin." I also ended up with shedu sets, war sets, and had a blast doing railjack. If you had a good group of friends, you could shard hop and get 2 or 3 payouts every cycle for max rewards which was exciting.
Thank you for the information. Nice music choice.
first thing i looked at was that amp, "ballas got no ball" hilarious honestly, good name might use for reference for my own amp haha
I have recently come back to playing Trinity Prime and having a hard time picking another frame for most missions, She's such an underrated Warframe. And thanks for mentioning the burnout issue. I've learned to stop wasting time in Warframe, when it stops being fun after about 30 minutes or so, I log out and go do something else. Especially with over 2,000 hours in the game 🤦🏾♂🤦🏾♂
as trinity main i 100% agree and love this
also playing off meta has kept my interest in the game quite strong
@@Chron880 I also understand about not chasing the meta, it helps me keep the game fresh by playing what I like instead of what everyone says I should.
As someone who normally mains either Wisp or Zephyr I've recently switched my main to trinity again i forgot how much genuine fun she is will be maining her for a good long while
I really don’t think DE is concerned about burnout and more about players making alot of platinum
Last event I farmed was Orphix Venmon for Energize + Guardian and I was def feeling spent after it, thought it felt like a good kinda spent. I farmed what's now a 1500 plat arcane for nothing.
I think burnout really comes down to the player and how much time they choose to sing but I guess that's just me.
I think that what de is doing with the event is a good idea. As very similar to songs if you listen to them on loop then the song loses its touch. It’s also a step in the right direction because of new aspects of the game that make the game new for you.
Interesting that they are "concerned" since the entire game is made to not only make you come back daily, but to stay in it and play as long as possible. Especially for new to mid game players. I don’t mind farming resources so much or even working to get that weapon or frame I want, but the time gating on the foundry along with limited times to farm something specific in open worlds as an example, is a way to force you to stay or spend platinum. You will most likely stay in the game and go do something else while you wait. Or they hope you will be too impatient and buy platinum. I know you can trade but personally right now where I am is I need to save prime parts in case the void trader is selling something I don’t have yet… which takes forever, and I don’t want to spend platinum on mods or arcanes. I will trade on occasion for the rare prime part that I actually want to build. But I don’t yet have great things to trade. Either way, farming relics or resources while waiting on time gated items/locations doesn’t contribute to "our wellbeing" it just reinforces the mindset to stay longer. Strange how this one event tho has them concerned… lol
I agree the non stop farming needs to be eased up but in all areas not just events. Over 500 plus days in play and I'm still after that 1 single part for khora, ivara and a handful of weapons myself. The grind pisses me off no matter how much I enjoy playing Warframe so I quit for weeks at a time when burnout kicks in. In fact I'm burned out now I've only played for weekly 11 year anniversary events going on right now I'm not even bothering to watch twitch streams for free items due to burnout which only ends up hurting content creators.
I think it’s really bad to limit how many arcanes we can get i was super excited when I heard there was another clan event but I won’t even play it now.
turning down about 2 level 5 arcane energizes cause the reward pool is capped and not infinite is kinda... childish
@@vikibg-wt2tonot really, people have other games to grind. So if one game wants to limit you on your rewards THAT severely fuck em imo. I’ll go grind another game that doesn’t tell me how to spend my time. The devs have always had an overbearing approach to everything, like getting a 2 WEEK trade ban for semi-long runs. Because somehow that means I’m cheating? Fun fact even if you go in solo and use the pause option you will still get a ban. The fattest of Ls for DE
@@vikibg-wt2to It’s really childish to assume what people should do with their time over the internet…
@@UnsungRonin Except that's not what he is doing. Nobody told you what to do, he told you that your argument was childish wish is a fair comment.
@@darkduprey4079 Except he was when he said turning down almost 2 level 5 energizes is implying that’s what I would farm.
As a newer player to "late game" it really sucks that ill be at a disadvantage because I missed earlier events that did have unlimited rewards.
Unlimited farming is the ultimate catch up mechanic and removal of it is the ultimate form of gate keeping.
Time gating and limiting progression is my #1 quit moment in games. Looks like I might need to find a new game.
I used to be a hard core farming player. Today i see things differently, I'm will 53 years old soon and play game to entertained myself. If i see that i play like it is another job then i stop. At the moment, my take in Warframe is i do 1 run of Eidolon per day (i try, sometime i do 2), do relic until i get a Forma blueprint ( that can take 1 run to i will stop and try again tomorrow if i want). Then i look at what i need to farm and take it easy. I try new idea with frame builds with archon shard, trying to finish my steel path and working slowly toward MR27.
Glad to see more older gamers! For all of those with the luck to live past 50 I am happy you can still game. I am not 50 yet but in a few years I will be, if im lucky enough.
@@Uthandol I learn and go by that each day I wake up it is a bonus. I will try my best to do what I want with my team and energy. I'm always young, age is only a number
Most games have become like jobs leaving the fun aspect behind just a race to get the next item it could be said that burnout actually comes from the forced caps make it so the content is fun and not only played for the rewards and then cap them cause u know no one will play once they are done
i feel like DE just doing this so we cant make mroe platinum meaning less sales in that period, that being said i do feel it is needed cuz allota players alck the self dicepline to not overdo it and health issues could happen,so its thoug to say how this should be handeled,on the flipside as someone who plays on and off, when i do play i do like to play allot and limiting mee liek that will be boring cuz i wotn have much insentive to keep playing, beside doing my weekly stuff
Almost everyone I told that I got back to playing warframe, expressed concerns for its addictiveness. They call it a rabbit hole. There is always something new to grind for, always a new goalpost. Moving goalposts like endless farms *will* eventually burn you out. It's a good move DE puts a limit on the event, anyone getting mad over it should honestly get a life outside of the game.
What should I do to prepare for this event as a pretty new player? I'm already in a well-established (and frankly: massive) clan, but I never do anything with them because I don't know what I'm doing. Progression-wise I'm at the New War quest, but haven't done it because I don't have a necromech yet. Should I just make sure I finish New War and the star chart before then?
I don't think anyone really knows yet... but I'd say complete all the quests and unlock steel path to be certain, you should be doing this anyway. Doesn't take too too long. Definitely wanna get that necramech.
I'm pretty sure it is post-New War content. The quest it is connected to has been labeled a follow up on what Stalker's been up to since the war ended, so I don't think you need Whispers or Zariman or anything, but you definitely need The New War.
What a pity. I was happy farming lucrative events like these, I will have to make it reach the limit and leave it, I will continue with the basic system of selling veiled rivens, and anasas 6 full for 60, Even though I haven't sold for months, I hope they stay the same.
So long as the event rewards are guaranteed and good. A daily cap would be better, tho
they probably saw how much plat some of these mfers had and were like damn thats a free account. We gotta put a stop to this we are losing money 😂
Ngl took some thought but makes sense, I felt burnt out after farming energize in GC
no worry, before jade update there's an upcoming soon release anime game release in may, so not really much matter anymore
If DE doesn't want us to farm and burn out, they should do again what they did with Prime Resurgence; Make more of these farms permanent so players won't need to cram them while they are here.
Yeah, we got well over a dozen of Operations, would it kill DE to make a monthly rotation of them? Besides, it would let people who missed those operations entirely to play them through.
Grind hard but not too hard.
Just make events on a recurring rotation, and have multiple of them simultaneously. Increase the rewards a little bit too.
Scarlet Spear, Orphix Venom, Plague Star, Gargoyle's Cry were all solid events to farm Arcanes. Let us not waste our souls farming Eidolons, DE
You could say it's to combat burnout,
But playing the devil's advocate here; A ton of players getting easy platinum is also a great incentive to change something if you want to SELL that platinum.
Instead they should really just make these "events" a weekly changing weekend rotation where theres one currency, but the purchasable reward changes with the current weekly. New events are infinite farm, as usual, but once they are over they (and their rewards) are added into the weekend pool. This would A: give people the option to play events more that they may have missed
B: prevent people from feeling like they NEED to spend 100hrs/week on the event
C:help combat overflooding of the market because rather than the market being slammed with 15000 new copies of Energize R0, it can rather be acquired slowly over time etc.
Also, it would make for some more content other than the repeatable stuff we have rn. Warframe is grind, grind, grind. Any versatility in that aspect will always be appreciated
I like that that limited it to 2 sets, but 2 honestly is not enough. I would say 5 sets is good
I mean if the event has a time limit then it's not really infinite farming is it ? If they are making a limit to rewards then make the event either last forever or last much longer. This way to can farm daily rewards for a longe time instead of farming infinite rewards for a short time
Your right , i do need to start walking lol
To combat burnout or to combat revenue loss by good players…?
hey what build are you using on that nukor?
its more about the trinity build
I hope that this is a sign that we can get some normalization of some grinds. I really REALLY appreciate Duviri Circuit but that's still a potential 3 month gate.
Why does it feel like I'm the only one not ever getting burnt out
wouldnt limiting the rewards like this make it so once alot of high tier players get the limit the event slowly dies b4 the month even ends?
I love your content, in my book your one of the top best content creators I follow. Keep going strong brother and thank you for your grind to keep us up to date on everything warframe. One love brother. 👍
Thank you! Will do!
It's a bit unclear if they're limiting 2 of each r5 available arcanes or 2 r5 arcanes. If it's 2 of each it's ok I guess.
soo funny if not to burn our rather limiting rewards it should be increase soo increas = Our Goal reach quickly & stop playing ... what kind of theory is Reducing make less burn out & make things better ???
for example in all Othere games what exacly is the Event ar .- Events ar like to Get more stuff Fast & make things easy and so to reach End of the Gameplay and move to another game ..... that's what make event's EVENTS
i say that is my thought
The people that no life events are the only ones who will be effected by the change. They are the minority of players and I don’t think it’s really necessary. As long as it’s not a daily limit then I’m fine with it as I can only play a couple days a week so I cram as much as I can in. I failed to get gold on gargoyles cry because I was traveling for work and it was limited on a per day basis so when I got back I didn’t have enough days left to get it.
Absolutely just ember roasted most of the fan base
For me is it Bad i am Working on montage and have all 4 Week's just 1 Saturday to Play whif limits to the Rewards have i even less possibility to just catching up .
i like the way its has BEEN. I did Gargoyal only till I got Arcane Energize R5. But I played plague star till I reached MAD fORMAS...LOL Burnout is up to the Players...
whats the graphic options you have
ruclips.net/video/-MPXcHuxxDg/видео.html
Personally i don't really mind events not being unlimited farms. The event having a limited supply of the really good stuff encourages you to play it, but there being a limit means you dont feel the need to go crazy grinding it.
End of the day it should be up to the person if they want to endless farm not the devs
They just dont wanna give rhe players the chance to not spend platinum on forma or have to play even .ore to grind certain arcanes....
Jade Eximus will laugh at your grind.
Oh, hell nah oh nou nou they are not going to take out my forma farm oh no they don't think we'll because the if I want to burn my self I will burn my self if I don't won't to them I will don't tell what is better for me
I'm always busy
I played once week only
For me that's bad news 😢
Of course, it is bad news fór players. IT Is bad to lock some rewards into clan events, it will be impossible fór some players to get some arcanes like Arcane energize for example And IT will increase thé prices on thé market too.
Thanks to gargoyle event i have an r4 energize! Hoi yah
If DE doesn’t let me farm hundreds of Forma next Plague Star it’s wartime💯
I myself feels the burnout. Its sadged
Agreed. Limits are good!
You know if the rewards from events weren't as RNG as they are to get by default, then I feel like people wouldn't be min maxing their life to farm events. Op. Gargoyle Cry and others prior was a guaranteed drop for Platinum Arcanes if you had enough event currency, who wouldn't favour farming that over the respective 5% and 1.41% drop chances. If they wanted to limit how much you can farm a day with a unique standing cap. for all players, then sure. Standing doesn't take long at all to cap, especially 30k worth of any kind. Regardless of what they do or how they choose it, min max farmers for events will never not exists as long as base game RNG is as shit as it currently is.
900 hours ingame, MR24 & I only 'farmed' once so far, a 1 hour steel essence run.
All the rest I just got from playing the game a few hours every week.
No burnout so far 😉
This was legit asf. 🔥
How about doing shorter events more often??? I don't get why it has to be once a year, or more, I'm sure the long wait and uncertainty of a return doesn't help people avoid burnout. I just don't buy it...
I took time off to farm Plague Star, farmed until I was sick, then kept farming until the end lol. That was my choice, I'd do it again, and I didn't get burned out from P.S. because it was some of the most fun I had with the game.
Gargoyle's Cry had me feeling burned out in a couple hours total, so I just quit. I didn't like it so I didn't play it- another easy choice.
On the other hand, farming Voidrig felt like a never ending nightmare lol. Now that one wasn't such an easy choice- Do I quit the game and do something else? Or do I push through the torture to progress through the story road lock and catch up to everyone else?
I dunno, guess I'm trying to say I find it hard to believe DE cares so much about their customers' health they would limit a certain event (that people WANT to do) when there's other tedious grinds that are mandatory to progress (I know they did cut down the Mech grind at some point)
Burnout solution is make the game less grindy but the option to grind its still "optional"
As a player who limited on time time gating the event is not a good for me
I agree the rng is bs , even with increase drop of crescendo and duplicate I've still haven't gotten a single duplicate they need to add those 2 to vendor even id they made it le 50k standing per r0 I'd be happy. Since it was a thing i have only gotten 1 duplicate and 3 crescendo. Every week i get melee arcane adapter x3 . Almost every melee weapon i own now has one and i own now than 50 meme weapons i actually use
Eh. I've been playing since closed beta and it's always- always been an issue of people trying to do too much too fast. Yeah, It can be nice to just sit down and get everything done in one session but playing the game so long that it makes you want to not play it ever again is just as much on the player in that instance. If players are lacking the ability to moderate their farming habits, then I don't see any issue in putting something in place so that way players aren't given any incentive to do so.
I do think that we've had better systems in these recent years, of course. Dante and Citrine are what I think should be the rule for new grinds rather than the exception- Where luck can make it faster, but you can quite easily get it through just playing the mission even with bad luck. I do wish there were more cases like with.. for example, Nova's launch, Where.. you just go kill the boss a few times until it drops, and then craft it. (I don't know how you get non-prime nova in the current version of the game i'll be entirely honest I farmed her about 11 years ago at this point and I'm almost entirely certain it's not as easy as it was then 🤣)
But.. Like with everything, if you feel like you're doing something too much in warframe.. just stop. Do something different in game, go grind something else, play other content, mess around in circuit, bump off a lich or a sister, run your dailies, mess with your nightwave challenges, freshen up your resource stockpile. You don't HAVE to do *one* thing, and even if you can't, have already done all other such things, or just don't feel like it.. Log off for a bit, even a couple hours. Get a drink, watch some youtube, go outside and get some fresh air, read something, play another game- my go to is usually rimworld.
If you want a reason for effeciency's sake.. If you burn yourself out grinding one thing for 14 hours straight because you absolutely cannot wait under any circumstances to get it another time, or another day.. if you burn yourself out and stop playing, you stop being able to grind more things out. Farm in moderation, ya goober.
ts actually not a bad move. Indeed we need to rest ourselves and not get burned out
Even i got burned out in the gargoyles cry event so it makes sense
So another cap like teshins kuva cap? No Ty. If I wanna farm, I want to b able to. I have taken breaks from the game before and will in the future.
for me at least, gargoyle´s cry didn´t cause any burnout at all,the fragmented one boss was fun enough to do 270 times, and almost got all important arcanes for me,if belly of the beast event is the same, then it would be very annoying, instead of limiting, they should simply make the content funnier/more diverse even if than means getting the rewards at a slower pace (PD: already got warframe burnout again, but was because of dante nerfs and deep archimidea´s annoying debuffs)
i have burnout farming liches & sisters !!!!!! fix this too!!!!!!
how theres only 4 weapons that are good

Should change the name to Grind Less Squad. Lol ,
Personally I think this good.
Warframe is an amazing game, and im thankful for all the hours ive spent, spend, and will spend playing, but yes burnour is a real thing and irs good that rhe devs are taking making our mental health a priority over clicks/streams/etc.
TO PREVENT BURN OUT YOU LIMIT MY REWARDS? Stop making it take a absurd amount of runs to get what I want.
Why didnt they give us better rewards for less work instead? now it means its going to take that much longer to get anything done, as the only reason people wanna maximize is because the grind is so long and shit. I get bored when the rewards dont make up for the amount of work put in.
Limiting rewards?! Wtf!? As if people will just shut the game off entirely and go to bed...
i guess after 2 max energize event will be pretty useless for the rest of its time
Good stuff on balancing personal health & gaming. Games can be really addictive for a lot of people, myself included
limited loot just demotivate to play the event and the game
Burnout? Doing the same few missions for 11 years? lol
I agree about fighting the burnout but I disagree about the method they use. No life farmers will still squeeze every ounce of profit from the event, even if it means they'll buy half the store twice over. However by limiting arcane sales to just two sets its the regular player that is punished first and foremost, not the no life farmers. I would suggest to set a "currency" limit instead. That way everyone will be able to buy the same arcane until they run out of this currency. We already have the daily reputation gain limits. Just use the same system, but instead of making it refresh daily make it not refresh at all for the duration of the event, while setting the max rep gain value that you can earn during the event to (price of every arcane set in the store combined) x2. That way you can either buy out the whole store twice, or focus your limited currency on a few items of real value, and there wont be a reason to run this evemt any further after you reached reputation gain limit.
The duality of Warframe players who burnout (me included dont worry):
The loser 1: I only play weekends i want farm as much as i want
The loser 2: I dont have a job i want farm as much as i want to get plat
Rebecca was right: 26 Million registered losers
Honestly I wish more game developers would consider burnout when making content. Not everything should be a grind fest. Players should be able to feel like they can play other games without feeling like they're missing out.
Boom first
ill like and sub when you lather up in oil lil bro
I Hated the last event.
Because pretty much All clans in warframe are dead.
I had to do everything alone, and I hate DE make an event around clans because outside creator clans that want you to be on everyday, you just end in a clan with 1 to 3 active members.
Personally, I have never seen any sense before, less now, it is the same thing. It is a game at the end, let's be real.
I dont think this is the right way to go about this honestly
Warframe gas always been about farming, and the grind part that hurts is the timegate. It is having to do stuff till burnout to maximize daily resets and stuff
For example, i hate that i feel forced to do fortuna/cetus bounties over and over till i get to the standing cap, but i have to in order to not lose standing on the daily reset
If i had the possibility to farm it at my own pace it wouldnt feel horrible to do
Same comes with this, they launch an event that fixes one of the most abysmal farms for 1 month, and think the problem here is people no lifing the game
NO!! The problem here is time gating essential features
Durivi is way too time gated, arcades are way too time gated
Surprised you fell for the specious argument of "burnout." They don't want you playing their game too much? LMAO. Makes no sense. Steve made Reb say it because he is the CEO and thought she could pull it off better. Remember when he proposed the pay to skip for the quests and then they had to back off on that idea? Limiting rewards probably has to do with them not wanting all that plat. being made by gamers. They want people to pay with cash. They should have just said that they were trying to protect the WF economy, which then would make a little sense. So you think they are worried about our health? But we can just play Elden Ring then or some other game. So they shouldn't make fast food so tasty or our movies so good either?
I don't need the game dev's telling me that I am playing a game a game too much that I enjoy. My health is none of the game devastating concern nor should anyone's health be their concern. It should be up to the individual to take responsibility for their own actions and health. This seems more of a punishment for the many over the actions of a minority in my opinion.
