@@thefisher2023 Hello The fisher, the reel you used for your video is exceptional, a Shimano Catana 4000 and all you did was cover the poor reel with grease, that is not maintenance, I have the Catana 100, I use it in salt water and the bearings seize up due to rust, you have to remove all that oxidation from the gears and replace the steel bearings with ceramic ones and "DISASSEMBLE EVERYTHING" not superficially, the bearing that serves to prevent recoil you only covered it with grease, it's a shame to see how you destroy a Shimano diamond, I assure you that you will not find another reel like that, it is magnificent, I even have the Catana rod that corresponds to the 1000 of 1.8 cm, inform yourself and use better consumables, not only pig fat, there is also silicone grease that does not damage plastics and does not rust like mineral grease, greetings and give it good maintenance so that it lasts almost eternal, because everything that is used so frequently get finished hahaha. what's now is it better?
He,He, Fishing reels will last for ever with a bit of care. When a Kidd, I wore out several Mitchell 300, Get a New Frame, and fish again. Today, as long as you can still get parts, They never Die. You just get tired of them and NEED the new Hot one
Yes my friend, you are right, many brands' products do not spoil easily. It is important to keep the machines free of saltwater and to maintain them regularly. I have reels that I have used for 10-12 years. They're like the first day.
Salamat lods
Thanks

All that old dark grease and brass dust left inside....
Few squirts of brake cleaner does the job than dry of and grease it up
Unfortunately, my friend, the pressure in the brake pad spray I had was gone! But you are right, you are telling the truth.
First of all you must wash all details
Thanks. Of course, it should be cleaned of dust. I thought this would be enough to keep the video duration short.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
YOU'RE KIDDING ME RIGHT?!!!! 🤨
