A classic! I remember the entire world practically stopped when she came out with this song. She won every award known to man for this and topped every single chart. The sheer success of it almost made me forget how genuinely great and emotional of a song it is. Great reaction!!
The song isn't only about an old relationship. She's said it's about a bunch of different things (her old life, her old friends, her exes, her fans, "the other side" of growing up etc etc). She summarises the meaning by saying it's basically a letter to her younger self from her older self. So you were pretty spot on with your explanation of the video representing her old life vs her new!
She's soo incredible live. I got tickets to her Hyde Park show this year and this was her opening song. Hearing her sing it in real time in front of me was one of the most surreal moments of my life 😭

Its called fisson when you get chills from music. It means you feel it on a different emotion than someone else. I only know because im a grown man that never cries but music can pull emotion from me faster than anything.
Another incredible vocalist in my top female vocalist list, although I don't listen to a lot of her music either. Not so much my favorite kind of music, but I'm smart enough to recognize a top tier voice when I hear one, and for that I have enjoyed what I have heard from her. Thanks for another great reaction! Oh, BTW, Adele is my middle name; too bad that doesn't have anything to do with singing talent 🤣

I never understood the whole sheets on furniture thing. I mean I know why they do it, summer homes of lake cabins, cover furniture with sheets to keep them clean till you come back, what I don’t get is, yanking them off and shaking all the dust off all over the furniture you covered to protect from dust.
