Coup d'etat is basically his own revolution. "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, The Revolution Is In Your Mind". Those white masks are the cover of his first solo album 'Heartbreaker'. It's actually his own face. That album was very successful but also was followed by many criticisms, all of them complete bullshit, that's why they cry black tears. You can see him stand under them and be completely covered by the tears and turn black which is completely the opposite of his first album and he breaks the mask. To destroy the old him and be the new one, that is his Coup d'etat XD. "Heartbreaker" was very revolutionary in many ways too. It won Album of the Year award. He bleached his hair completely, that was the beginning of colorful hair in kpop, and used heavy autotune, many people were telling him not to do it and he wouldn't be able to sing it live but he took the risk, and an idol having solo career while still being in the group? All were new in kpop and you know how people who does anything new first gets hated the most. He did criticize the media. In the MV, he is surrounded by the journalists with mics trying to interview him but you can see their eyes are covered. GD himself makes very good metaphor here too. He is blindfolded in one scene but then in the next one his mouth is shut. Meaning sometimes if you can see you can't talk, if you can talk you can't see. /this is my own take tho/ That logo at the end is actually his own brand PEACEMINUSONE. Peace Minus One. Get it? Peace sign, minus one line, it becomes GD. Very clever. The best part is his PEACEMINUSONE also means just straight up middle finger. ✌-☝=🖕 get it? Peace sign, minus pointer finger, it becomes middle finger. This is why he is called genius and prodigy. His song Middle Fingers Up explains it. Check it out sometime. PEACEMINUSONE's official logo is a daisy flower that is missing one petal. It's dope. Very simple, imperfect but so beautiful. 'Lo to the ser' is just him calling the haters LOSER, XD how you guys didn't get it is beyond me. Anyway great reaction. Thanks. React to G-Dragon - A Boy. You'll love it.
GD's Coup D'etat album was way ahead of the time. The public wasn't sure how to receive the album bcs Kpop music had never sounded like that before. When VIPs say GD & BIGBANG revolutionized Kpop, we mean it!
I compare to him much to Eminem as a counterpart for Western audiences. Always breaking the rules of the rap, rebelling against those who want to take them down and fighting back against norms. G is very talented though.
That's symbol is actually his brandname Peaceminusone which also why the peace sign lost one line. It also means number 8 coz the small hand is at 8 o'clock which is his number, GD was born 8.18.88. But if you look closely, the sign also looks like GD. Brilliant!
@@CriTiCriTiques thanks for replying, now I have to request 😂 Please react to This Love his first ever solo as BigBang member. BigBang's debut song Lalala and the song that catapulted them - Lies. BigBang debut was not really big though they had many fans already, but Korea's superficial view of beauty was not accepting, they were called the Ugly idol group. But they made it in the end, they proved them wrong. 🤗
@@CriTiCriTiques just want to add that it can also mean "f u".. when when we do a peace sign, we put out our index and middle fingers.. the index finger usually represents "one" so when we remove it (or the "minusone"), we're left with the middle finger
The funny thing is that kpop back in days didn't ready for this masterpiece.. But right now I understand how iconic g dragon is.. Once king always king of kpop..no one can't change that fact 😎
They won't ever be ready for The Kwon Jiyong hahahaha. He always come at them hard, they always start up hating and ends up stanning and jamming. It's been said, you can always hate BB but you can never hate their music. They lead the game. Hate towards their music is mostly mere bitterness 😁
@@erenlost7311 I just saw some translated Knet comments, and they were basically questioning when BB is going to comeback and when GD going make music industry there have some life again. They curse BB but don't want to let go of them.
@@shauniek EXACTLY!!! Dang, knetz' mindset always drives me crazy. The industry is in no way different as well. Remember when YB said that he's not sure if the people who wants to be friends with them or befriending them are genuine about it or just 'because they are BIGBANG'. I felt sad for them as a VIP. But that's inevitable as it comes with the fame. Everybody wants to be friends with you for the sake of having a famous friend, for clout, for connections and bragging rights purposes. So sick and sad 💔
@@erenlost7311 when i read ur comment i remember about seungri.....yeah after this he definitely learnt some lesson about who the real friends or friends with benefit
That's GD's symbol, you can see letter G and D together. And it also becomes the symbol of his own clothing brand that is actually called peaceminusone ( peace-minus-one). And when it comes to the lyrics, it's kinda hard to understand it at first especially for international fans since it has a lot of deep korean idioms, you need to search really hard in order to understand it. He's being the king as he is especially during this time when he released this album, he really tackles about the "norm" people and the media portrays (he's like taking a strike towards the industry).
You should watch his documentary: “KWON JIYONG ACT III: MOTTE”. It’s here on RUclips and you’ll be able to know him more and all the stress he had to deal... It is amazing for real, i think everyone has to watch G-Dragon’s documentary to learn about the fame and everything that happens backstage... You’ll love it! Thank you for your reaction, i loooove it. Keep reacting to BIGBANG please
Love your reaction! G Dragon is just too deep, it's really hard to understand him, he is almost unreal, that genius he is. The colors of a revolution: This album has an emphasis on the colors red and black (and white, to a lesser extent). The album itself comes in either red or black. The video’s color scheme is mostly black and white, with occasional red. Aside from being visually impactful, all three of these colors are highly symbolic. Red, most notably, is the color of passion, anger, blood, love, and revolution. Christian tradition has also linked the color red to the crucifixion of Christ. Black is the color of death, darkness, and mourning. White is more traditionally thought to represent purity, though, in China, white is the color of mourning. The video’s message of continual rebirth and revolution tie into the colors presented. Boomerang going from mouth to mouth: For those who don’t know what a coup d’etat is, it’s a French term literally meaning “blow of state,” and used to describe an overthrow of government. The term ties directly to the theme of revolution explicitly referenced by the lyrics. Of course, the revolution GD is referencing isn’t one of traditional governments or heads of state. According to the lyrics, his coup d’etat is his music. The “boomerang” refers to the lyrics of his songs that “go from mouth to mouth,” spreading his influence, giving him power in the music industry, as if he were an usurper gaining power within a government. In G-Dragon’s Collection, the photobook features quotes about the making of the album. A phrase that came up frequently was that G-Dragon “broke out of the kpop box,” a revolution in its own sense. GD also said, “You know, the meaning of coup d’etat is rebellion, it’s overthrowing a government. Just perceiving the world, I wrote the lyrics with that in mind. I want to continuously instigate, whatever it may be.” This continual instigation within the music industry is only possible so long as an artist continually transforms. What instigates society at one moment of time won’t have any influence in five or ten years. In order for artists to remain relevant, they must change and evolve, which is exactly what the video is about. The revolution is in your mind: In order to maintain relevance, artists must constantly change and undergo personal revolution. Of course, this revolution is not an external one, but a mental one, just as the lyrics say, “the revolution is in your mind.” What we see in the video is a metaphorical transformation occurring within the psyche of G-Dragon. This is hinted with the video’s lack of corporeal locations. The sky always looks like the cosmos, or there’s just a room set in pure darkness. There is no actual location you can tie these things to. Another hint is in the use of only one outfit throughout the video. While his suit definitely changes depending on setting-whether there are rhinestones on the jacket or if he’s wearing gloves or if the jacket is white, etc-these differences are minimal compared to the costume changes GD usually makes during his videos. I don’t know how to articulate why this is significant outside of metaphor, and a possibly obscure one at that. In the manga and anime Soul Eater, when Soul is under the influence of black blood, or madness, he retreats to a “room” within his mind where he always wears pinstripe suit. His mental state and madness is indicated by use of this one non-physical location, this one particular suit. Nothing is real. It’s only metaphor for internal struggle. The rebellion we see is against himself. The only government that is overthrown is the rule of a past GD. G-Dragon’s character within the video is cocky. His gaze never falters. His stance is relaxed, but undeniably intense. There are moments within the video where he looks near demonic with pitch black skin and golden fangs, and yet his character possesses a vulnerability. As the video progresses and we journey deeper into GD’s psyche as he attempts to reconcile himself to his death, as he must die before he can reborn, each scene becomes increasingly disturbing. There is an underlying anxiety to the video that we sense, and G-Dragon is subject to it. It affects him more profoundly than it could ever affect us, and yet he doesn’t look alarmed. He knows what to expect in this cycle of the death of the present artist and rise of the next. It’s only a matter of reconciling himself to the pain. The video opens with a man crouching in rubble before a wall. From the man’s wrinkled skin, we know he’s old. From his ratty, dirt-covered clothing, we know the journey to this wall has been long and hard. From his crouching position, we know that his journey has exhausted him. From the old man’s tattoos, we know this is G-Dragon. This is who he currently is. He’s old and tired and his journey has been long. He needs to be renewed, to break through the wall that’s separating him from regeneration. His hand inches toward a red-tinted rock. None of the other rocks are this color. As he grips it, the song says, “the revolution is here.” The revolution is in this moment that he grips the thing that will bring his destruction. The rest of the video is the process of bringing himself to throw the rock, to break wall, to usher in rebirth.GD stands in a tunnel under a wrecking ball that thunders and shakes the walls that surround him. The swinging wrecking ball invokes a sense of urgency, as if it were a clock counting down or a pendulum. Note also that the wrecking ball is banging against the walls from the inside rather than from outside. This destruction is coming from within. This scene with the wrecking ball and the scene with old GD are the only scenes shown more than once throughout the video. They provide the only source of narrative where the other sequences are purely metaphorical. The scenes with old GD are more obviously narrative as his character actually has action within these scenes, where the wrecking ball scenes are mainly just GD standing there. These scenes with the wrecking ball are the most frequent in the video. They parallel what’s happening in the other scenes because this is the G-Dragon that reacts emotionally to what’s happening throughout the video. While he’s initially straight-faced, we see him in moments of confusion, frustration, defiance, and pain as his death approaches.Next, we see a young boy pledging allegiance to a coffin placed on a pedestal. The child is wearing a military-type outfit and a red glove. This scene is juxtaposed with a shot of GD with his hand, too, over his heart in a red glove. This child is also G-Dragon, as was the old man. An earlier shot showed him standing on top of the coffin as well, so we know that the body within the coffin is also G-Dragon. Here, the video introduces the concept of the cycle of rebirth as we see GD in all three stages-youth, maturity, and death. As a child, he sees what he must become and he pledges himself to it, a blood red hand over his heart. The flashing lights within the pillars of the pedestal hint at the musical nature of this death. They are the flashing lights of a stage and they are within this structure. This is not a literal death, but the metaphorical death of an artist. The first aspect of his death he must come to terms with in order for his continued success as an artist concerns his love life. GD stands in front of a makeshift forest of birch trees with six women in red hiding behind the trees. The birch trees hold two meanings. First, birch trees represent renewal and beginnings, referencing the video’s theme of cyclical rebirth. Second, and more relevant to the topic of love, birch branches were used in Gaul marriage ceremonies as tokens of a future successful marriage. The most women I counted in one shot are six. They’re dressed entirely in red satins and lace. They’re at once delicate and sinister, romantic and seductive. They’re blind-folded, like all women in the video are. They’re blindfolded to hide their identity, to suggest that they are more concepts than real women. They’re symbols of potential partners. There are six of them, six being the number of the love goddess Aphrodite and of the Lovers tarot card. The Lovers card can represent decisions within relationships, and often sacrifice. A deep red spot grows over his heart, as if his heart were literally breaking. He doesn’t go into the forest, and he doesn’t engage with the women. His heart his bleeding but he shows no pain. He’s resolved himself to this heart ache. He knows that in order to succeed, this part of him must die. This is just a part, I will stop here, if you want to find out the rest, read here: mybiasisquiet.tumblr.com/post/132861914491/g-dragons-coup-detat-mv-music-video-analysis. It's not 100% sure but it is the most accurate one.
The logo at the end of the MV is now the logo of his own clothing line, Peaceminusone (read as Peace-minus-one) hence, the one stroke that's missing. The thing about GD's and also some of BIGBANG's lyrics - especially the rap lines personally written by either Ji or Tabi - is that the words don't have very accurate English translations so they are hard to decipher because they use a lot of Korean slangs, metaphor and pun, they always have hidden meanings. Most of the time tho~ they're directed towards haters, nay-sayers and also the media.
Crayon, That XX, Missing you(ft Kim Yuna), Dirty Vibe(CL ft GD), The baddest female (CL ft GD live performance), Hello(ft Dara), Double Combo(GD & TOP) pleaseeeee👑❤️🙏
that symbol is the cover logo of the album coup d'etat itself. on the other note it is also one of the logo of "peaceminusone" GD's personal clothing line logo. that symbol is used to be "peace" minus one "line" that makes "peaceminusone" or for short "PMO", another thing is if you cut the logo in lengthwise it forms "G" and "D". btw, what i like about PMO is their caps like the one GD using during his performance with CL that you recently reacted. but every time i listen to this i hear "everything for kwon jiyong. hair makeup dress nailart (in tune with meori, eokkae, mureup, bal swag check)"
I hope you read my comment. This translation is not very accurate, actually. Which is sad. And the mv is kind complex. The blood-stained shirt means that everybody see him like a player (gorilla) getting all the girls, but in reality he's the one with the heart broken. That's why the women are blindfolded acting mischievious behind him. GD's the most sacarstic in BB, so a lot of his writing is like that. And everything he does is so full of symbolism that sometimes is hard to understand. He's criticizing the way media and haters see him. Because since day 1, BB and GD was attacked by being different, not being like everybody else. He's the rotten apple. And the second part actually is badly translated, he's being sarcastic again. "You all see me like a shameless guy, arrogant, full of himself, but in reality I'm fresh and clean, man, none of you really know me." That's true. Everybody in KPOP says that he's one of the most humble person in the industry. There are a lot of deep symbolism in the song and the mv. He lying in the floor with the dead crows mean the end of the line. He confessed before about thinking of killing himself. The white masks crying black tears mean that what's being shown outside it's not what it is inside. Deep down, he's suffering just like any other human. That's why after this, he shows his body painted in black with black tears pouring around his feet. He's full with suffer and hardships. Among the members, GD is the one who struggles the most with the fame. You can clearly notice this in the Loser's mv. He confessed before that he envies the way BB members handle the popularity and all the attention. That's why people see him and T.OP as 'cold guys' and hard to reach to. A lot of idols visible fear them because of this aura. But it's just that they don't handle well this attention. That's why he says "you'll never know what famous is". What truly famous is. It's tough. You can notice too that when he's blindfolded, there are shots being thrown at him. While he's eyes are free, he can see that there are a lot of eyes on his back staring directly at him. Apart from the boy, everyone on this mv are not able to see. In the song, unfortunately, there's a part which was not translated in the lyrics you read "Being normal is my only prohibition". This phrase actually means the world to this song. It's incredible sorrowful. I think the less known songs of him are amazingly written. Divina Comedia, another deep song of GD, might be one of the saddest, agonizing and honest songs of KPOP. It's definitly one of my favorites. It's just so upsetting that there aren't good translations for BB and members works out here on the internet. It just takes away the quality of it all. But anyway, thank you for your reactions, they are very entertaining. I watch your reactions every single day. I guess at this point it feels weird if I get through one day without watching them. XD
@@clarisseguiblain4731 This is really bad because people who's starting to know BIGBANG now don't get to fully understand their lyrics since BB's official youtube channel don't translate them and international fans can get easily lost while translating. Even for a korean, it's not that easy either. GD's lyrics is really hard to translate because he abuses on metaphors and symbolism. There's some korean expressions you can't translate as it is, sometimes it loses the meaning. Instead of adapting to english, some people just makes it all confusing. But I do appreciate fans' efforts. I just blame YG for not doing this work themselves. Unfortunately, people who are reacting to them now will never know the real group messages and how poetic and polemic they are. I truly think that VIP's should gather and try to make BB more accessible for the newcomers since we are in a new era now.
@@anniephunqi I agree, that's why when I was getting to know them it was VIPs I went to get answers from. Of course fans are trying their best but I still feel its better not to put out something if its not done right (although I understand it's all done in good intention). It's YGE who should be providing this plain and simple.

@@jewdmussema2282 People don't like this mv? This is pure art. I confess my heart shrunk the first time I saw it because 'his scream for help' was so relatable. I appreciate that you liked it. It's good to make exchanges with someone about something you feel the same.
The Peaceminusone symbol = G and D if you split it in the middle; peace sign minus the forefinger becomes the middle finger; 8 o'clock (8 is GD's lucky no. DOB 8-18-88); his vision "a utopia that we have yet to reach"; and name of his fashion brand.
GD vs. Kmedia... 😂 Kmedia have been always looking for gossip from bigbang esp GD... you should also look at Big Bang - Monster a song for fans who left the fandom cuz of some stupid media sh*ts... getcho crayon crayon... G-Dragon Crayon pls 🖍️
VIPS are very supportive and appreciative of reactors who appreciate the work of art that is BigBang. So we usually want to share new reactors to our pages, so that others can appreciate you as well. Expect more help from the family whenever you have trouble decoding the lyrics of BB's songs. Keep BB contents coming, so we have more to look forward to and enjoy with you.
The line "hide more tightly, I can see your hair" is a little roughly translated, but it's also related to "I'm the tagger/I'm it" line. In a children's game, the seeker/tagger counts and sings to the players to hide, and they tell them to hide down low or their hair will be seen above the flowers. Then they seek. I've also seen variations that are more red light green light than hide-and-seek. This line was also used by CL in her song Hwa, where she put a twist on the game song. The children's song was also used and made very familiar by the show Squid Game, in the scene with the giant doll. More contextually, both GD and CL were like - you can hide but I see you.
You are by far my most fave kpop reactor. Hahaha. I always wait for your videos. I think other VIPs already explained the meaning of the logo in the end, and I think you got it. Peaceminusone. 😉
Always a great song on its own but really better chronologically - this was his essentially breaking his 1st album & breaking free from the issues that were going on then. There are sooo many references to the heartbreaker album, signature lyrics he reuses, & refs to mvs from the single releases then (breathe, heartbreAker, a boy, etc). This song & mv are basically a "revolution" / sequel to the heartbreaker era. When it came out fans went nuts lol Worth coming back to if you check out his 1st album so you can pick up all the nuances. He has a lot of signatures hes developed over the years & references older songs & his brands a lot.
The logo at the end is his brand peaceminusone. And if you use imagination you can see that it's made from a G and a D and the letters put together forms an incomplete peace symbol. Hence the name peaceminusone. :)
Damn dude! This is what I am waiting for! Daaaang! That's a real sh*t right there. When he turns black, he just absorb all the tears of those idols who can't speak for their feelings. AND GD IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DO THAT!!!
Sorry for my poor English, but I have sth. to explain. Please don’t mind. The shape of the red stone GD picked up at first is like heart. It may be the symbol for the original impetus, the very beginning mind, and the reason why he started his music career. In the end, the wall is destroyed by the red stone. The red flag means the revolution has succeeded. The white faces on the wall refer to his first album heartbreaker. At 2009, when his first album came out, people saw idol as the product on the production line. They couldn’t believe that one idol could produce his own album. So people framed him up, saying that he copied other song. That was a hard time for GD. Even someone DMed him and asked him to kill himself. The black liquid flowing down refers to the libel. The logo is called peaceminusone. Peace means the peaceful utopian world. Minus means the reality world. One means the cross point of the two worlds. The logo also refers to GD and eight o’clock. In his song called middle fingers up which is released in his 2017 album, peaceminusone also means the middle finger. ✌🏻-☝🏻=🖕🏻 The MV is art. Each scene has the hidden meaning. The tree in this MV could be related to the tree in the crayon MV. It’s hard to understand fully. However, GD is so talented and that is all we need to understand.
When I meet GD I obsessed with this song, the meaning is deepest when you investigate all the references ❤ See you in our FLOWER ROAD 💐 #BIGBANGisFIVE #OT5
I saw others gave info about the symbols in the MV but I can add Hong Kildong is a person who is like a Korean folktale like Robin Hood. (I think this is right) Also that wall of white masks are all his face, also it was the artwork for his previous solo album that he was heavily attacked for. Try Taeyang's Ringa Linga, Chey will love it..especially the dance practice video.
To summarize his second album, this is his response from critics from his first album. If you dig a little deeper from when h e released this song and the album, the whole M/V made sense just like how one person explained it in the comment section 😊
The logo is GD remark, and it is used for his own brand = Peaceminusone. It’s from the peace symbol but you remove one line on the right, hence minus one. It’s forming a G + D, if you notice. It also can goes like this = ✌🏼 - 👆🏼 = 🖕🏼. LOL. There’s a lot going down on his logo, it’s very philosophical.
Love your love for my King GD and his legendary group Bigbang! And yes that logo is GD's Peaceminusone logo, as it's the peace logo minus 1 stroke lol, n to me also look like the initial of "GD", COOL right!? 😎😍✌🙏
To add to the meaning of the logo, if vertically flipped it is similar to korean voting stamp. When koreans vote, their ballots are stamped with this sign. korean.stackexchange.com/questions/2712/what-is-the-significance-of-the-korean-voting-stamp The logo is simple but it speaks volumes. 1. An inverted voting stamp may, in a way, mean revolution too. An insurgency. (My take) 2. Incomplete peace sign. Imperfect peace. Peace is ideal but it is difficult to attain. 3. GD. His name. His identity. A part of himself 4. 8 o'clock. His favorite number. A lucky number. Born on 8 18 1988. That simple logo have many stories to tell. A glimpse of GD's enigmaticly beautiful mind.
You may not know this saying of kpop fans in Asia: there are always fandom battles but there is absolutely no battle for G Dragon's article, all of them have to praise him.
It's peaceminusone--his symbol his brand name. It is look like GD. It also point to 8 if you regard the symbol as an alarm clock because his birthday is 1988.8.18 and 8 is his favorite number. It is also a peace symbol minus a line. You got it. It means an intersection of peace and reality.
The symbol is used by GD as his insignia. It's the peace symbol, only one line is missing. Peace minus One, is also the name of his fashion brand "Peaceminusone". There is a double meaning to peace minus one, by holding up the peace sign forming your fingers as the letter "V", minus the one pointer finger, and you'll get just the middle finger up. Also, if you look closely at his symbol, you can make out the letters "G" & "D" as many people have probably already commented.
The symbol is a peace sign minus one. It resembles the letters GD and is considered GD's "symbol" and is also the name of his clothing brand. If you look at GD and Taeyang's "Good Boy," the intro shows the peaceminusone symbol with sunrays around it, symbolizing GD and Taeyang (taeyang is Korean for the sun).
No one knew what to make of this when it came out, but through this album GD became the first and only (to date) solo artist to win Artist of the Year at MAMA! Also, the white masks are from his first album, Heartbreaker. Please react to GD - middle fingers up and superstar. Thanks!
I dont think that you gonna read this, but i think, that you would like the singer Jun K. He is a member of 2pm. He is a really good singer and a rapper too. He is a friend of Gdragon and he wrote and produced a lot Songs. Today he released his first single after the military. The song is called 'this is not a song'. Its amazing. Pls react to it. No one like BIGBANG BIGBANG is the first group to start writing and producing their own music. G.DRAGON is the first idol to do it. After the agencies started giving their idols chance do it. 2. BIGBANG is the first one to have official lightstick. G.DRAGON designed it. Since then all FANDOMS followed it and now every fandom has their own lightstick. 3. BIGBANG IS THE FIRST BOY GROUP TO DYE THEIR HAIR BRIGHT UNUSUAL COLORS like Pink, blue, neón green, Orange . G.DRAGON made it trend, starting from blonde there is no color he hasn't tried . Among other facts more...... THEY'RE THE KINGS OF THE KPOP 👌
Did you know that the Peace sign at the end actually is GD logo its a G and D togehter. The original peace aign has to diagonal lines but he took the right one away to make it GD logo
GD is known for his excellent word play..any translation won't be able to do complete justice to the lyrics unless you can understand korean yourself..
Te "piece" logo is his name.. read the logo, its G+D merged. Also that is the incomplete peace sign, which is the logo for his clothing brand "PIECEMINUSONE"
I like the scene where he is sitting on the table and the reporters are all around him but all of them are blindfolded meaning they do not care about the truth they just want to make buzz by using him Also there is a scene where he is standing blindfolded while bullets were being shot at him but none reached him which means no matter how much you try to attack him you will fail
12:51/19:45 this reminds me of the old electric shock therapy used in asylums, the fact that it's in the prep and makeup section may be an allusion to the fact that expectations and public view are trying to force him to change what he is. As it is common even in korean esports to have their performers wear makeup to achieve the "perfect image"...so not kill him persay but beat him into submission
and the logo is peaceminusone, its his brand but it has more deep meaning. Like the world everyone wants, a world full of peace but we are not there yet, there's no peace yet in this world but we're almost there. When you also cut that half, it says GD, his initials. In our hands peace represents by our point fingers and middle fingers so when you fold your point finger, only middle finger is left. That's how the world right now. We are in a fuck up world.
/this is my own take tho/
That logo at the end is actually his own brand PEACEMINUSONE.
You'll love it.
actually his logo peaceminusone is mirror image of stamp you get on your hand in Korea when you vote for some political party
@@artxhani the logo has multiple explanations, bud.

Nice sharing ...
wow, i got chills when i read this. thank you for sharing btw
G-Dragon was always ahead of time. Revolutionary artist.
That's why their songs are "Timeless" :)
That's symbol is actually his brandname Peaceminusone which also why the peace sign lost one line.
It also means number 8 coz the small hand is at 8 o'clock which is his number, GD was born 8.18.88.
But if you look closely, the sign also looks like GD. Brilliant!

@@CriTiCriTiques thanks for replying, now I have to request 😂
Please react to This Love his first ever solo as BigBang member.
The symbol also spells GD.
One symbol with many meanings and interpretations. Truly One Of A Kind.
The funny thing is that kpop back in days didn't ready for this masterpiece.. But right now I understand how iconic g dragon is.. Once king always king of kpop..no one can't change that fact 😎
Trueeeeeee...
They won't ever be ready for The Kwon Jiyong hahahaha. He always come at them hard, they always start up hating and ends up stanning and jamming. It's been said, you can always hate BB but you can never hate their music. They lead the game. Hate towards their music is mostly mere bitterness 😁

His special trademark.
Wtf, i just rewatched the mv for my *daily* GD marathon, and i see this?????
The album it self is art.. just saying bruh.. one of kind
You should watch his documentary: “KWON JIYONG ACT III: MOTTE”. It’s here on RUclips and you’ll be able to know him more and all the stress he had to deal... This music deals with lots of issues in Korea from corrupt politician and kmedia
True
The outro of this album is also really good! The lyric is interesting.
And the logo actually became the logo of GD‘s fashion brand peaceminusone.

that symbol is the cover logo of the album coup d'etat itself. on the other note it is also one of the logo of "peaceminusone" GD's personal clothing line logo. that symbol is used to be "peace" minus one "line" that makes "peaceminusone" or for short "PMO", another thing is if you cut the logo in lengthwise it forms "G" and "D". btw, what i like about PMO is their caps like the one GD using during his performance with CL that you recently reacted.
but every time i listen to this i hear "everything for kwon jiyong. hair makeup dress nailart (in tune with meori, eokkae, mureup, bal swag check)"
That's peaceminusone.
XD
So glad to see your comment, it really is frustrating there lyrics are rarely translated correctly in the sense of what it actually means.
KING 👑❤️💎

This man is art. You need to check his song Crayon, has a dope flow and the M/V is insane hahaha

AND GD IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DO THAT!!!
yes, finally, thank you for react to this song.
You can hear that, "bang bang bang , bow wow wow yeppi Yo, yeppi ye
The MV is art. Each scene has the hidden meaning. The tree in this MV could be related to the tree in the crayon MV. It’s hard to understand fully. However, GD is so talented and that is all we need to understand.
This song is so iconic,gd basically saying that he's gonna takeover the korean music industry when he's dropped this album and he did!

Omg perfection u can find that videos meaning on google l guess~ and can u make more BIGBANG and G-DRAGON pleasee👑🌟👑🌟👑🌟🌟👑🌟
To summarize his second album, this is his response from critics from his first album. If you dig a little deeper from when h e released this song and the album, the whole M/V made sense just like how one person explained it in the comment section 😊
Thats the simbol is a combined GD! also like peace sign with out 1 line so he called it peaceminusone. that is now the name his own clothing brand
The peace sign at the end means ( peace minus one ) which is his brand
The one of his kind.. G DRAGON

To add to the meaning of the logo, if vertically flipped it is similar to korean voting stamp.
When koreans vote, their ballots are stamped with this sign. korean.stackexchange.com/questions/2712/what-is-the-significance-of-the-korean-voting-stamp
The logo is simple but it speaks volumes.
1. An inverted voting stamp may, in a way, mean revolution too. An insurgency. (My take)
2. Incomplete peace sign. Imperfect peace. Peace is ideal but it is difficult to attain.
3. GD. His name. His identity. A part of himself
4. 8 o'clock. His favorite number. A lucky number. Born on 8 18 1988.
That simple logo have many stories to tell. A glimpse of GD's enigmaticly beautiful mind.
This song is almost 8 year old but the people still are nit read for the convo and this masterpeace ...this is Genius Kwon being ahead of time .
React to G-dragon - crayon, and G-dragon - who you
The symbol is used by GD as his insignia.
If you look at GD and Taeyang's "Good Boy," the intro shows the peaceminusone symbol with sunrays around it, symbolizing GD and Taeyang (taeyang is Korean for the sun).
the symbol at the end is his brand PEACEMINUSONE. Also, you can actually see GD itself
That Logo is G + D together you can check it out on google just search Peaceminusone logo meaning
it is GD`s brand logo called PeaceMinusOne. If u separate them right in the middle you`ll see that it is letters G and D )))
No one knew what to make of this when it came out, but through this album GD became the first and only (to date) solo artist to win Artist of the Year at MAMA!
Also, the white masks are from his first album, Heartbreaker. Please react to GD - middle fingers up and superstar.
Thanks!

Did you know that the Peace sign at the end actually is GD logo its a G and D togehter. The original peace aign has to diagonal lines but he took the right one away to make it GD logo

Please react to HAPPY TOGETHER or the documentary
wow,, I just realized it...
GD is known for his excellent word play..any translation won't be able to do complete justice to the lyrics unless you can understand korean yourself..
"Is he cooking money?" Yes you're correct
Bigbang in happy together please!!
Te "piece" logo is his name.. read the logo, its G+D merged. Also that is the incomplete peace sign, which is the logo for his clothing brand "PIECEMINUSONE"
I like the scene where he is sitting on the table and the reporters are all around him but all of them are blindfolded meaning they do not care about the truth they just want to make buzz by using him
Also there is a scene where he is standing blindfolded while bullets were being shot at him but none reached him which means no matter how much you try to attack him you will fail
Please Big Bang-Monster mv ✨
12:51/19:45 this reminds me of the old electric shock therapy used in asylums, the fact that it's in the prep and makeup section may be an allusion to the fact that expectations and public view are trying to force him to change what he is. As it is common even in korean esports to have their performers wear makeup to achieve the "perfect image"...so not kill him persay but beat him into submission
GD is everything. 🖤
Finally! 💕
and the logo is peaceminusone, its his brand but it has more deep meaning.
This is what im waiting for
Bro... you got to check SHAKE THE WORLD by G-DRAGON... that song haven't MV but pls react to the lyric cuz is LIT!!!
