The short dash u cant do anymore. Before ignition, mercedes was able to cancel lightning edge (the dash) with stunning strikes, but they changed that. The jump you're talking about is rising rush + aerial barrage

I have a quick question, how did you stop your char in the middle of the Lightning Edge (7:44 -7:49). I replayed it many times but I am still confused.
Hi! How soon you can cancel lightning edge is tied to attack speed, so this unfortunately isn't doable in TMS. GMS has a speed cap of 0, while TMS has 2. T_T

I haven't checked in a really long time, so these are my best guesses at 0 AS. take them with a grain of salt without spirits, comboing is like 1-5% better *if* you're hitting your wraths (if you miss most of them, then stick to ishtar) with spirits, it's anywhere from 20-40% better, depending on what you do and what boss you're comboing on just keep in mind that there are situations where you can't combo but can ishtar in. the number of these scenarios drastically decreases once you get better at comboing, but it'll never be a completely useless skill
You can cut lightning edge short with any skill that it connects to (stunning strike, unicorn spike, leap tornado, wrath of enlil, spikes royale, and rising rush). How soon you can cut the dash depends on your attack speed, though
