yea I've asked it something similar for equities. It setup code using alpha vantage datastream. I already have code for etrade to do trades. So all I need is to combine them and add in indicators.
As awesome as I think this is, it does give the same problem you would get when getting code from github or stackoverflow. Without coding knowledge there's no way you know what you are getting and putting it all together, debugging it would be hell without any previous knowledge. You already knew from the start what you wanted and you could make better questions. But I know alot of people who, for example, just got code snippets from stackoverflow to build their app/program/whatever like some Frankensteins monster, but the moment something doesn't work the way it should, or not at all, theres nothing they can do because they just don't know what the hell they' re doing. ChatGPT can build stuff according to your questions and I'm sure it will be alot faster and precise with new iterations, but without some backup knowledge about whatever field you ask it about.. It's not gonna replace programmers anytime soon.

A few weeks back I tried getting it to calculate the last 10 rsi values for bitcoin without using an external library. It didn't go too well 🤣 Anyone who knows the rsi calculation understands that it needs to feed in the previous rsi value to calculate the next value. Maybe there are ways and means of getting it to do what you want but I simply gave up trying to persuade it to do what i wanted.
I am usually giving my thoughts on stuff I make videos about but here I just kept it simple. But I might comment on what do I think about it in upcoming videos. Thanks a lot for the feedback.

well ai only uses data it was fed, so there are no new concepts and every code the ai is writing, could therefor already be in existence. So in conclusion I d say there won t be a difference. yet. This could change if Ai could do scintific work with its fed data. But I reckon thats a scary thought.
Strongly disagreed. AI pulls live data with an asynchronous approach, calculates the return between data ticks which is a perfekt foundation on implementing in trading logic.
