Lions should be proud the way they played. Had us on the ropes in the corner and we just fought our way back in the 2nd half. Glad we're going to the SB but it wasnt easy. Det is a young team with rising stars, an excellent coach in Dan Campbell and getting better. NFC opponents better watch out.

The Lions played all season like they were defying their history. That their history didn't matter. They played the first half that way tonight and in the second half, they embraced their history with open arms. I expected much better because they are probably the best Lions team ever. I am a Buccaneers fan, if this was going to happen, I wish that they would have embraced their history a week earlier. The Lions fans will get the True measure of their team next year. This will be a difficult game to recover from. It may seem that I am trashing the Lions, I really am not. I was just hoping for someone new in the Super Bowl. I wish them well against everyone but the Buccaneers.
