These EPS panels are very very expensive! As of 2023 one EPS panel ranges from Ksh 6,000 to Ksh 12,000 for walls and slab. The traditional method of Ndurago stones or precast concrete is way way cheaper!
The Govt. Should provide free or subsidized construction workshops to equip the labourers with technical knowledge then award them a certificate so as to increase industry competence in the field of EPS. Designing using EPS on the other hand should be easier than brick and Motar. Our country desperately needs help 😂

Kenya's walling problem is the craftsmanship on site! using stone/brick, the quality of the surface finish needs ALOT of work to make it look good

Its not cheap from buying to professional cost of installation. Might end up being more expensive than stones/bricks.
They say is 50% cheaper than the stone building but the truth is the eps is so expensive thats y it has not penetrated
VAT Taxation on EPS increases the cost of purchase of material thus low uptake of technology.
