    • @gusgone4527
      @gusgone4527 Год назад +1

      @@evobsm2328 In 1981 the British Army had 900 Chieftain MBTs with almost another 100 held in reserve. We also had the ability to build another lighter model of MBT called the Vickers MK3 (Later the better Mk4 etc) More importantly, we had at least two functioning state of the art tank manufacturing factories. Ready to supply as many spares and upgrades as necessary, to keep that fleet in fighting condition. Plus the ability to produce more of both types if they were lost in battle.
      So mysticky friend. Reducing the fleet to 470 Challenger 2, even if all of them were upgraded to Mk 3 levels, would have left us woefully underequipped. The loss of the strategically important tank factories was a direct result of having such a small fleet. That loss was the biggest mistake in British military history. Even worse than giving away finite military resources to a former soviet enemy country, Ukraine. As much as I liked BoJo, he should be in the Tower of London awaiting an appointment with the executioner.
      I'd say that qualifies as an issue of major chuffing concern. A failure of government bordering on treason! The so-called post Cold War peace dividend was and still is, a delusion. Perpetrated by woke lovies with no balls and a lower IQ than an autistic dog turd.

All of the rest of it looks electrically sound from what I could see. The cosmetics of the panel are a bit rubbish, but most of that will probably clean up well enough.
