Most of us in the Diaspora are not from IITs. We are ordinary people. Instead of calling Indians, please say HIndus. We have indian muslims in the Diaspora and they are not as successful. We do not want want our children to work in Halal butcher shops or drive taxis and do construction work. we want them to go to IVY league colleges and choose an important profession. We do not say that Allah has decided, and it will be what HE has decided. We strive. The emphasis has always been on education, from the time of my great grand parents. It is our success in all fields in British India that caused the jealousy, which in turn created the great Naqba, the Partition. Bangladeshis are also muslims, but they do better than Pakistanis.

So we are talking about the Hindustan group within Islam and you can not put the religion to blame.
The problem of Pakistan is simply the same like in India by the way both are same ethnic groups and unity is the big problem in both India and Pakistan.
Indeed India is ahead of Pakistan but if we look at gdp per capita the gap is not that big so I don't see why India and Pakistan can not unite based on ethnicity since they are same people.
