  • This high crown braid tutorial in curly hair is one of my fave styles that I wear all the time. See my photo tutorial here - www.hairromance...
When I first tried this style, my arms ached! But with practice, it's become a regular style for me that I wear at least once a week now.
If you've got any hair questions or video requests, please leave me a comment below.
Thanks for watching! (and for reading this far down!)

Finally! A crown braid tutorial for curly hair! You're right about following your natural curl pattern once I quit trying to section my hair perfectly my hairstyles turned out much better.

Thanks Eva! You have to go with your curls, right? Then they add even more the braid x

This is now my standard "summer hairstyle" which i wear everyday throughout summer because it keeps all my hair away from my face and neck. Thank you so much!

Wow! That is sooo cool! And looks awesome too. I haven’t mastered Dutch braiding yet; my niece asked me to do one and I looked it up on RUclips but after regular braiding for my whole life I kept unconsciously bring a section over instead of under & messing it up. 😅
I am inspired now to keep practicing…that is an awesome hairstyle and I can see why you rock it once a week. Thanks for sharing your “how to” for this style.💙

Thanks! Maybe I need to do a step-by-step basics series? I am not very coordinated, so if I can do it, I know anyone can :) xx

so glad I found this. my hair is too thick and heavy for a regular milk maid updo where you wrap the braids around your head and pin them

How have you managed to maintain your curl patter with the blonde hair?? I've been wanting to go to your shade for so long but I really don't want to loose my curl pattern. Any tips??

go blonde slowly! Colour will change your curl pattern but I've been blonde for so long now that I've managed to nurture the curls back. Also use a plex product like omegaplex/fibreplex/olaplex/bond etc as this is so important when lightening your hair. Good luck! x
