I love your tutorials. You are to-the-point, yet also add in necessary hints. No wasted time, music, or cat stories. LOL. Professional level. Your work is beautiful. Your products are good, too! I have a little trouble with some of the clear "jelly" texture panels, but I was not spraying them ahead of time, so I'll try that. Thanks so much.

Thank you for the tip of using the varnish on the sides and this case the insides. Hate trying to use resin on sides and normally would leave sides raw. Gloss and resin for me from now on!

Samantha, the clay looked like stained glass before it was baked. It's amazing how it changes colors after baking. I love that!! Another great video! I had that happen to me after putting the resin on. I drilled through making the hole. I thought it went through all the way. I was wrong! It pealed off the back resin.🤭

Hi Samantha - you make the best videos - - and have been a great source of inspiration to me. I've been working with polymer clay for over 40 years and began making pendants an earrings about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, vision issues have put an end to that so it's bitter-sweet to watch artists' tutorials and wish I could continue making those kinds of pieces. I do have a question about the resin process. I had always been intimidated to try it, but realized it absolutely is a game changer and makes otherwise hidden depth and details pop. I couldn't seem to get the clear, clean finish on the pieces - I used a lighter to pop any air bubbles and yet the finished pieces still had some waviness and pinholes in them. The recommendation on the resin bottle said to cure for two minutes - and I see you cure yours for 15 minutes - - do all resin brands require different cure times in the UV lamps? It was frustrating to have a piece that didn't look as clear as glass as yours do. I also had to wait at least 24 hours before I could touch the piece without it still feeling sticky and getting fingerprints on it - I could never touch it shortly after taking it from the UV lamp. So sorry for this long comment - just wanted to know it I was perhaps doing something wrong in the process. I didn't think to try brushing a varnish on them like you showed in this video - I may have tried that as an alternative to resin. Thanks again for your inspiration - your creations always make me smile!

Thank you for explaining the translucents. Do you mind me asking what brand of translucent is the clearest.

Cernit or Pardo are the best options in terms of clarity. I'd say Pardo's the best by a tiny amount but can be harder to get hold of and is more difficult to work with. It's great, but I'd recommend Cernit.

Thanks for the tutorial. I got the worst migraine of my life when I tried UV Resin. Any suggestions for what masks would be best? thanks!
