    I love and do enjoy this show....but the little problem I have is that the guests are not allowed to answer some of the questions before being allowed to speak. The culprits are the two guys. Especially Nedum, he asks and at the same time answers the question. If this is corrected, I bet this show will be the best.

    Thank you The Honest Bunch Podcast for bringing Terry G to the show.. Good to see who he really is when he is not doing music. I learnt a lot from this episode. I really loved Free Madness that year, I wish it was released now, he would have made so much money from it... Then it was even difficult to get it online then (till much later), I relied on some radio stations and DJ's to listen to the song when it just dropped then... I love your songs Terry and I bought your albums.. I pray you drop another banger soon.... Terry G is super talented and so many of these musicians know...

    Colleagues from his set failed because music at the time was done by people who are not academically sound. These were rebels who believed they could pave a way through music. At the time, music was not this money spinning but they were brave enough to risk their lives for it. They took a huge risk. We should celebrate them and reward their sacrifice towards what music is today. God bless Terry Gee and others.

    • @jchrismusics
      @jchrismusics 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@awelewasmith6564 second ranked, are you the one that ranked them. Maybe to you, he is second ranked but to the rest of the world MJ is the greatest popstars that ever lived, he sold more records than anyone, he has a massive catalogue of music that keeps selling even till today more than anyone, most number ones on the billboard, made the most money, sold out more shows and toured bigger venues and sold more tickets. The stats don't lie but music is subjective so if Elvis is better in your opinion then that's your opinion. There are people that will still argue Prince is the greatest. That's why in my comment I said one of the greatest because the greatest in anything is very subjective

    The human voice is an instrument on its own,with or without words and Lyrics and just like we add filters to our pictures and special effects to our videos, adding special effects like Auto tune and Vocal Benders to human vocals is just part of the art. Just saying

    The guy Nedu is talking about in 44:23 is Bobby McFerrin. The guy is a walking instrument and blew everyone away at the World Science Festival. The video is here on RUclips, search “Bobby McFerrin demonstrates the power of the pentatonic scale”. He’s popular for singing “Don’t worry, be happy”.
    If you want to hear him work magic with his voice then also search “Bobby McFerrin - Ave Maria”!
    You’re welcome. 😊

      I'm glad someone identified that part
      As Nedu said, "black guy", I was willing to know who, because, a white guy now does it, "Jacob Collier", you can also check him out
      But as you mentioned Bobby now, I'll check, because, I never knew that a black man did such

      @@Its_superdave09 Jacob Collier is amazing. I ❤️ his songs. He’s won multiple Grammy Awards for good reason. Thanks for calling my attention to his ‘Audience Choir performance’ at the O2 in Brixton. It’s my first time seeing it.
      Bobby McFerrin is OG. You should surely check him out.

    He made that word “GINGER” that everyone uses till date to describe something extremely powerful even though we just knew it as a type of root or plant but he made it a word that can describe things as powerful or motivating.

    Why doesn't he start his own label, we need the old afrobeats back, he would be a good person to lead something like this. Just by the artists he mentioned, these are people still making really good afro music
