We have something new! Pipepoxy Pipe Repair - No Cutting, No Digging.

Pipepoxy is a multi-product system that is used to either spot fix or re-coat an entire pipeline that is leaking. While this technology is not new, Pipepoxy uses its 3-step sanding, cleaning, and coating technology to access smaller diameter pipes ranging from 1”-2.5” which are most commonly found on swimming pools, fountains, ponds, and other water features.
The components included in the kits will help you make the repairs without digging. On average, an experienced contractor can get it done within 4 hours and come back the next day for a follow-up visit compared to 7-10 hours of cutting concrete, making the repair, then patching which often results in terrible cosmetic variations.
Any contractor can purchase this product, however, they must go through the Pipepoxy system training to learn how to use it properly.

Are there any scenarios where you would choose not to Pipepoxy? This seems like a potential go-to method for repair

If the leak is over 25 feet into the pipe line, if there's a Tee pipe fitting, if there's too much ground water where the pipe can't get dry.
