i binged watched all of your HR Diaries. Really enjoy them. Would like to know how much time you take for the gymbreak plus lunch. What are your tips for that to not use a lot of time for it? Also would really like to know more about your responsibilities and what you think people need to get a HRBP role. Thank you so much for your content! :)
Omg thank you for watching!! i am so happy that you enjoyed them :) i have a 1 hour lunch break and generally go around 1pm-2pm (i eat lunch at my desk after while doing work) so it helps me stick within that timeframe. Great questions as well - will definitely cover more of my responsibilities and what people need to get a HRBP role ❣
Thank you for answering! Gives me perspective and I am looking forward for more videos! Right now I am interviewing for a HR Assistant, starting new in HR but I am looking forward to become HRBP. So some tips and perspective from you would be really nice! @@lindaaahoy
Glad to find your channel. I am doing an internship for HRBP this summer. This helps me understand more what I would be doing if I continue on this path.
Hey Linda! I loved your video about the HR routine. Thanks for sharing it with us! I am an HR Assistant in Brazil, and I am currently looking for an international remote job. My English is at an intermediate level, and my degree is a Technologist in HR. In Brazil, we have undergraduate programs that last two to three years, called Technologists, which are focused on the job market. After that, I completed a Postgraduate degree in Strategic People Management. Unfortunately, my degree is not considered equivalent to an undergraduate degree in the UK, US, or Canada, but I’ve noticed some HR Assistant opportunities that don’t require a Bachelor’s degree. If I manage to get a remote job, I plan to enroll in a four-year degree program, like Business, but for now, I don’t have the financial means 😅. Do you have any tips for my situation? Also, what are the software and tools you use for work? I know things are quite different here in Brazil.
Just graduated with my BA-HR. Ughhhim looking for that jump, I have nothing but customers service background no leadership. What position should I apply for outside of recruiting 😢??
Congrats on the graduation! I would suggest you start with HR Administrator / coordinator if you didn't want to go into recruitment :) You've got this, good luck! x
I think it is dependent on the company/industry you go into - i know people who do it remotely and some (including myself) who are hybrid so i go in and wfh some days :)
I do! But as with any career - there are always good and bad days but I would say that if you enjoy assisting people and okay with no two days being the same, then explore it as a career path! There’s also a range of areas that you can specialise in within HR so you can always choose to jump to another if you don’t like one ☺️
If your company is hiring, is there any ways you can recommend to apply for the finance and accounting or kinda data analyst stream. To jump into the job and btw love your videos and would like to have more of an professional and daily vlogs kinda contents. keep going, lots of love and strength from india ❤
We’re a business solutions company so don’t ready focus on the finance/data side unfortunately :( thank you for your support!! ❤️ Will definitely have more work days and daily vlogs coming :)
this gives me such nostalgic feels! absolutely love it

Hi new here I’m a college student and was wondering what exactly a hrpb does and how can I get into that field 😊
I love how minimal your setup is, one day someone will invent an instant cat hair removal gadget and I'll be able to make it happen xD, great vid!
Thank you!! If it's too cluttered, my brain can't handle it >.< Hahaha I mean, that person could be you!?!

Can u do hr remotely or does it have to be at the Office?

@@lindaaahoy what area of HR has been your favorite?
@@threadhoney9445 i enjoy the people side of things with onboarding and implementing new features to assist with wellbeing ☺️
Is an HR manager required to travel for meetings?
Depends on the company! Sometimes i travel for projects / training other members in the team but there will be some travel :)
Nice 😊 where are you from
