    That is the only subway line I use on a daily/weekly basis. And I find the cars pretty packed. But the buckets, hand drawn signs etc. show there is operational budget issues.

    Does not make sense that multiple angencies do similar things, but rather than tying them together under one organization to create a better system each opearates independently. Leading to inefficiency and failures that might have been overcome through centralization and collaboration.

    Wow, that's unfortunate, but they should be able to mitigate the problem.
    The ridership will improve over time as the last residual effects of Covid are history.
    Constructing public transit infrastructure is vital for the future even when it's not perfect. It's worse not to have any as many cities are finally realizing it. And, these projects can take decades, so if they aren't built now, when?
