- In a rush to go somewhere so I'll keep this short, I cut out a portion of the video where I was drawing magic for a good two and a half minutes, just for everyone! I'm a real Triple Triad whore at this game so excuse me if videos come slow for this playthrough haha.

That silence at 5:44-5:48 always made me thought the game was growing to crash
I remember watching the neighbor kids play this fight and being so blown away by the pre-rendered cutscenes. Best thing we at home was Ocarina of Time.
Keeps me hooked for hours, gained a lot of Blue Magic in the process. :D
Yea i know the feeling of playing triple triad alot at the beginning of the game. I played so much i got Squall's second best weapon (punishment i believe it's called) after the operation lol. And hot damn you got Siren :D With most players they just run through this semi boss gauntlet because it's a 2 in a row boss fight and miss the draw. And now it's time to run from the giant spider tank!

Nice! Weapon upgrading is on my to do list eventually, I don't want to make the game too easy since I'm trying to avoid leveling up so much. Couldn't forget about Siren! I'm more analytical with FF8 than I am with FF7 so I spend more time drawing magic from anything alive lol.
I got impatient trying to collect/junction Thundaga before the operation, so I have no idea if I can beat the spider. D:
Final Fantasy VIII was originally released for the Playstation and the PC but today you can buy it on the PSN over your PSP or PS3 for just $9.99. Hope this helped. :)

+icecreamgee It's a running gag, we see Cid, Biggs or Wedge in one way or another in most of the series.
Biggs and Wedge are actually named after the Star Wars characters. It's a running gag for FF games to have at least 1 Star Wars reference of some sort, and Biggs & Wedge fill that spot for some games.

They do less damage than double casting spells and makes them vulnerable to damage themselves

+Thirteen 1355 If I could remember, I'd tell you. All I know is that you can gain access to a few of the -aga spells early from Triple Triad + refining items.
I came this early in the game without a clue of the junctioning system
How do I get to know how it works? I've heard the refining tent you can have thousands of hp, making the game easier. And I don't even know what refining is :(
