Minority opinion here I know, but I kind of liked the gacha paints. It would make my fashion far more unique. I get how other people wouldn't like it, though.

The color gatcha system is completely gone? I actually found the system interesting. It could have been solved differently and quite simply? set the rate of the needed items very high or they could have just increased the distribution of the paint collors (instead of one you get 3 paintings) or you can buy the colors directly with the currency. etc. Just increases individualism. I guess they changed it to "direct buying" now, which probably makes the game even more expensive ^^
I actually played around with the color stuff, and when you go to color parts on the guns or characters, you can use each color as much as you want per skin, not just once on a spot then its gone, just don't click it on one part, then hit accept, gotta color all the parts you want that color before saving. They also have a bank/storage area separate from your player inventory. Honestly, not terrible for a nexon FTP game. CS Nexon Studio, that ftp cs zombies game shit was way worse lol
I have played it, if you have played Warframe and wondered what warframe would be like if it was shit, then yeh, you have the first descendant. This game won't hold your attention for more than 2 hours. Warframe is superior in everyway, even in graphics, especially in performance and optimization, weapon uniqueness and variety, combat, Map/world design. This game has got nothing except hotter characters

red flag when i see that color pallet stuff "denying" creative freedom by putting a paywall is kinda upsetting. and if you're individual coming from a game with allot of customization you'd prob be mentally forcing your self to buy and hope you get some colors right.
its not a one time use for paint. you just need to have one for each piece you want to paint ( head, body mark, back etc) as far as i can tell it stays and can be reused
some of the colors do not disappear after use but remain forever. I didn't understand exactly how this mechanic works, but you definitely have colors that can be used many times. It's also important to note that you don't really want to be like a glowing rainbow. You will use the same colors for the helmet, armor and weapon to be cool in tone , probable 2-4 permanent collor will be great .
I played most of the tests/betas, loved the gameplay. So of course I'm gonna try it. But I can't say if I'll stay or not. It really depends on A: if and how much caliper I can earn in the game regularly, and B: changing the color system. If A is true and it's decent then Bisn'tt as bad, but I'd still want them at least to make the colors permanent vs 1x use.
True. Also, when korean or asian make live service games, the target audience are always western. They want all the usd you guys have. Nah, after 5 years in black dessert there's nothing to surprise me anymore :D I'm quite looking forward to the game, I see a lot of Destiny 2 in it which I used to enjoy before it went to Steam and some changes buried the game in my eyes...
Just beeing able to color my char in warframe from the getgo with some basic colors is one of the most enjoyable things early on. I do not intend to waste however many bucks you need to get enough colors to color in one (!) char. And then have a game that does not have the fun movement mechanics from warframe.
The game was super fun last beta and i was really going to look forward to this. After logging in to the beta and playing a little i ended up seeing the story, the RNG color mechanic etc and i havent played it since. This completely ruins it. I dont support games that do this sort of stuff. Make money a reasonable way instead of trying to milk your players. This is unacceptable in any sort of game.
Nice video. In my perspective, how I play games, I never care about appearance, this game will have absolute zero money from my in skins and everything that is just cosmetic. But about bundles of materials etc, depending on coast and benefits of the price I could buy a few in while.
This is just wrong info I mean purely wrong the color system is jacked and needs to be re worked but you don’t need 8-9 colors for one outfit you need 2 one for the helmet and one for the body I tested it when I played the beta got several colors I could color all parts of the body with 1 color and all parts of a helmet with 1 color so 2 technically 4 if you count backpack/chest Again this system is bad and I hope they fix it but you can paint the entire body with the same 1 color you get and can reuse it on the same outfit/skin as much as you want
What bothers me the most is that they make stuff cost a certain amount of coins and then have a bundle be just shy of what that amount actually is by just 50-100 coins making you buy the next tier which is more expensive

I reckon 1500 for battle pass would cost you approx €12.50 to €15 when seeing other games. So 3000 for pack €25 to 30. So approx €40 to €50 for the 5000 pack.

the game has dropped and the total caliber that you mention in the video to max out inventory wouls set you back about 450 USD. absolutely ridiculous... I'm looking at the skin packs in relation to the caliber packs give just under the value if you wanted to buy a skin. so the 10 dollar back gives 520 Caliber while most of the skin packs cost 750, requiring you to buy the next caliber pack priced at 20 USD giving 1060 caliber which gives you more than enough for that one skin pack leaving you with about 300 caliber left. and then there's the evolved skin packs that ask for 1900 caliber which logically requires you to buy the 50 dollar caliber pack that give 2750 caliber though you could just buy two of the packs that give 1060 caliber. putting you at just barely enough to purchase an evolved skin pack while costing 40 USD instead of 50\ so basically they are pricing things just barely too much for one caliber pack and just barely not enough for the next caliber pack. typical nexon bs why am i surprised...

If you pay money for cosmetics like the maid outfits its okay. If you pay to draw something they got you. Genshin impact is the same way. Players that pay to draw a random character has a gambling problem.
No it's not . Warframe is also a f2p game but in warframe you can 100% farm everything you want in the game. Only things you can't farm are some cosmetic skins that are in bundles or from steam workshop(which are made by players and they get their cut of each sale). If this game dosen't have a way of earning premium currency for free then its just a garbage money grab skin. Also the battlepass already says enough about these developers. Battlepasses are the most horrible way of making people be active in your game spamming you with useless tasks just to make you play a few more hours. And this is not me being a f2p enjoyer in warframe I've spent about 100$ on warframe cosmetics while I was playing.

How did they screw this up?? The cross play beta showed off how you'd earn paints and such and gave so much promise but this is a nightmare

No it's not . Warframe is also a f2p game but in warframe you can 100% farm everything you want in the game. Only things you can't farm are some cosmetic skins that are in bundles or from steam workshop(which are made by players and they get their cut of each sale).
If this game dosen't have a way of earning premium currency for free then its just a garbage money grab skin.
Also the battlepass already says enough about these developers. Battlepasses are the most horrible way of making people be active in your game spamming you with useless tasks just to make you play a few more hours.
And this is not me being a f2p enjoyer in warframe I've spent about 100$ on warframe cosmetics while I was playing.
