@@oe542 I will piggy-back on what Caleb Bailey said. Cost is a big reason. Tracks are more expensive to buy at initial purchase than LSW tires. When it comes time to repair/replace tracks, it is very costly. When you sell or trade your tracked combine or tractor, you will lose money, because not a lot of people want them or can afford them. Also, as Caleb Bailey said,.....you can travel faster down the road and in the field, because LSW tires are a smoother ride than tracks or regular tires. (Less road loping and power hop.) Faster times running on the road and in the fields, means more time getting work done. Like they say,....."Time is money". Another big cost for tracks, is higher fuel consumption. It takes more engine power to rotate tracks, than it does tires. As far as slippage and compaction,.....there may not be a big difference between tracks and LSW tires. I think the LSW tires would have a slight advantage in wet/muddy conditions. There are many RUclips videos and testimonials on the Titan LSW tires.
@@oe542 I would think they last a little longer then regular tires. I'm not sure how'd they compare to the belts on the tracks themselves but I'd be willing to bet you rebuild the tracks turning parts several times before going thru a set of lsw tires. Hence we swing back around to cost....lsw seems to be taking the game by storm.
59 seconds you are such a tease. Looking forward to seeing these monster machines working in the field. Saw that you replied to a comment that I might get to see that.
This so Awesome. Use ride track back 1970s my mom father was hardest worker on farm later 1973 die in his sleep. Lots great memories ride one tracks. Thank You. Be first child is gift see new machine though years. God Bless All hardest working Farmers All Across America. 🇺🇸
Had those Tires on a S680 Combine and the sidewalk Blew out. Had them on a 1300 Kinze Cart and the Sidewall blew out Goodyear wouldn’t stand behind any of them. At $5k a Tire I wouldn’t ever buy another one!!!
Versatile makes the best looking modern tractors available in my mind. Thanks for the continued amazing content!

BEAUTIFUL...
Good lookin tractors right there.
They make more sense than tracks
Why do you say that?
@@oe542 cost wise is the biggest reason, and they are just as effective, can run faster down the road on lsw then tracks as well 🤷♂️

Thanks. Any idea on life expectancy of tracks vs. LSW? Hours before replacement is necessary.. etc

I like em a lot, hot wheels tractors!
My cousin Andy Anderson owns that shop
What’s the cost of a set of 4?
Somewhere close to $10,000 or more
What's lsw mean?
low side wall
For what they are asking a piece I'll stick with regular tires I could buy a decent tractor for what they want for 4
