The modern pre-trib rapture teaching and dispensationalism both appear to have their roots from the Plymouth Brethren. Many seminaries follow after certain theologians that propagated those things, including: E.W. Bullinger, Clarence Larkin, and John Nelson Darby. The only way Christians can navigate through the mess of subtle heresies is to read the Bible for themselves, everything in context of what the Bible says, and not through the private interpretations of other individuals. False teachings can be popular, but the narrow way is the right way, though it is the way too infrequently chosen. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. - Psalm 119:99, KJV “At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.” - Matthew 11:25, KJV
