I've been a fan for years but I've never seen them as I live in a country far far away. Was thinking about investing in a trip to see them on European tour this spring - so your comment is helping me decide if it's worth it :)
The war on drugs music is timeless! It will live on for the generations to come. Really proud to say that I was there. What a blizzard! Thank you for capturing this beautiful masterpiece
This is the video that the algorithm pushed to me about a year ago that led to me finding this band and War on Drugs being my favorite band maybe ever. Saw them last week and they played basically this entire set. Thank you for uploading this.
Thank you for this great surprise on a Sunday night. My favorite band .MSG. enough said. And I'm a 63 year old philadelphian. This band should get huge.who knows 2022!!! Thanx Again
Hands down a top 5 live performance (in my book). Something about trudging through the snow to get to this show made it extra memorable. Hope I get to see them play again.
Thank you so much for recording this. I had never heard "Harmonia's Dream" before this concert, but couldn't get it out of my head. And now I realize that this live version received some special love... 14 minutes' worth!
What an outstanding video of such an epic performance my wife and I were fortunate to experience! The War on Drugs has become without a doubt my favorite “newer” band. Specifically cannot stop listening to Under the Pressure. The musical artistry, energetic build up and sheer fun of it all rivals any song I’ve heard live during many great concerts over the years. Allowing us to relive this is much appreciated. Thanks so much for posting!!
I discovered them listening to random music in Spotify while I was driving. I had to park a side my car to see the credits of the music. God bless random algorithm of Spotify!
@Jerry Crosby RE:parts of the crowd were too chatty. how freaking annoying is that. You pay up to see a show and then have to put up with that. If you want to talk thru out the show go to the lobby.
@@jackmalvern5704 I couldn’t agree with you more. Incredible concert but that was by far the worst aspect of the show. I kept thinking “WTF!”throughout. Especially considering the brilliance of this band. Fortunately it didn’t dim the glory of what is The War on Drugs!
Thanks Larry Rulz for taking the time to post this. Look's like it was a GREAT show. I think TWOD is one of the greatest live bands out there. All these musicians are tremendous. I never get tired of seeing Charlie banging away on those drums. Be well all!
Mind blowing players all of you Guys. Had the pleasure of working with you at Southampton sometime ago... Great People Wonderful Band...All the best to you...
Thank YOU for sharing! What a show!! I hope they play like this in Holland! 22-04-2022 Ziggo Dome. Listen to the version of Harmonia’s Dream! Awesome!!!
Hell yeah man! This show was so amazing. The sound, the lights, the crowd...all just an incredible experience. The sound quality of this recording is awesome. Thanks for posting!
Wow…such a great show. I’ve seen two shows after Lost in a Dream came out, both in smaller venues, and they were great, but they’ve really upped their live show game into the stratosphere. Thank you so much for putting this up. Best gift I’ve had in a long time!
Best live music experience of my life! Just wish they played Eyes To The Wind. His live guitar solo on that song changed my life. Can't imagine how it would be in person.
Thanks so much for posting this! I had a ticket to one of their Boston shows a few years back and got sick and missed it, I was heartbroken. I definitely won't miss them next time! Undoubtedly one of the of the best bands out there...outstanding!
Finally get to see a re-scheduled show in Atlanta in May and I cannot wait! Just such great energy and emotion from the whole band, fueled by Adam's effortless guitar playing.
How could anyone watch and listen to this performance and not realize that they're experiencing the most emotionally- charged, intense band rock has to offer at this moment?
The build up on Under The Pressure from that night’s performance makes me emotional. God, I love this band. I hope they play Eyes to the Wind tonight in Asbury.
Sound is spot-on, thanks for your efforts. Having this night archived on YT is wonderful. After some thought of bailing out, my wife and I said, "what the hell" and made the journey from CT. It was a wee bit treacherous but totally worth it. The city has a unique feel that night with snow on the streets and sidewalks. Our seats were quite a bit up but everything sounded amazing. I shot some video of Under the Pressure and lemme tell ya there were tons and tons of people down on the floor it looked so cool.
You're right about the unique feel that night. I also drove to MSG. Midtown Manhattan was like a ghost town, with almost no one on the road. It was very eerie driving on 8th Avenue with no moving cars in sight. I actually parked right across the street from MSG, something normally impossible on a Saturday night.
@@larryrulz5 thank you so much for posting this amazing band, amazing music, all talented musicians, unforgettable memory. I was there, I love them, I'm obsessed. This was my 4th time seeing them in NYC. Imho, this at MSG and the concert at Radio City Music Hall were the BEST!! Thank you Adam, Charlie, Jon, Robbie, Dave, Anthony, and the newest member, too! I just love you all!
Many thanks from the inception I love them they never disappoint many thanks to each of the members of the band they are all gifted with their music 🎵 with love from Tobago
The way they milk the climax of Under the Pressure is absolutely phenomenal, I'm so glad I didn't watch this video until after I saw them live in Minneapolis.
Saw them when they last went on tour in Cologne, Germany, and this April they're coming to where I live: Frankfurt, Germany. Yippie. Not a huge fan of this new album, though it's great to see they're still doing lots of their great oldies. TWOD is one of the bands that sound a million times better live than on their studio albums, so thanks for posting a preview of what we'll be seeing in a few months. I also love watching Charlie Hall just destroying those drum sticks on "Under the Pressure."
You will go straight to heaven for recording this...Thanks..
I was at this show. It was my first time seeing The War on Drugs. It was also my first time ever at MSG. What a night to remember.
Damn dude what a first drugs show !!
same man! we’re you in that pit?
Saw my first last night, Awesome performance. I’m hooked

Never miss a chance to see TWOD. They are the pinnacle of studio quality live musicians. Their sound is ethereal.
I missed them in Oslo last summer😒 But then God gave me a new chance next summer when they play in Tromsø❤
YES !!! The greatest band in the world right now.
All of their songs sound the same to me
@@matthewparkerdixon I like the vibe of the songs, but I totally agree. Can only listen to them for so long before it wears on me too much.
Totally agree. No band comes close. Philly bred, Philly proud.
Yes without doubt, and I’m 75

I personally like the song as I battle my own drug problem yes there about ican change with out the stigma but it's all good
I also found them via the algorithm. It insisted that I listed to Under the Pressure at Lowlands for a month, and I finally gave in.
The greatest band in the world right now.
I really love that Adam has added a girl to the line up. She sings beautiful too.
She appears to be a woman, actually.
Eliza Hardy Jones
only with the chorus girls, otherwise it is just a band...
Did you just assume her gender???

Thanks Adam and SC for allowing this to remain on RUclips, much love from Bloomington IN.
Yesssssss, so glad I made it to the show despite the weather challenges. The Garden was nice and toasty because they WERE ON FIRE.
Agreed! and it was a bit of a bitch to get there but so worth it.
the best band on earth
Truth.
Saw them in Antwerp on Saturday. Was overwhelmed. Great band that's getting better every year.
This is the absolute best unknown Rock band around right now. Amazing stuff. Thanks for the video….nice quality!
@@jimrappaport4070 They also get some play on Sirius/XM. Oh, and they won a Grammy, so "unknown" is not a good description!
Along with the National the TWOD are the best two bands around now
beautiful music there, in the two bands you've mentioned, but there are others: Bent Knee, Umphrey's Mcgee...and so many others.
Yes!!! Beach House and future islands too ❤️
KV and TWOD would be my choice.

OMG words are not enough seen them 3 times now best band in the world................
Gotta love MSG. The only place where you can see the old bathroom sink from the stage. Great video & audio thank you for posting.
Haha that was bothering me. Someone opened the curtain at 59:59 and it stayed open for most of the rest of the show.
If Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead & Tom Petty had a baby, it would be The War on Drugs! Going to see them for the first time in LA-can’t wait!!
Thanks for your Video Larry! Really enjoyed it, looking forward to Dublin in April.
