I live in the Midwest now. I grew up in Highland Park and graduated from the H.S. several decades ago. Nice video of the park. Still looks the same. Sad to see the pond in the video that is in the park. My friend's brother who was only 6 years old walked on the ice and fell through and drowned. We only lived about 2 blocks from the park and his parents didn't even know he left the house. Anyway, thanks for bringing back some memories of the park!
