    Time stood still
    Just like a photograph
You made me feel like this would last forever
    Looking in your eyes
    I see my whole life
They say you know it when you know it, and I know
    (Oh-oh-oh)
Promise that you'll hold me close, don't let me go
    (Hey!)
Take my heart, don't break it
    Love me to my bones
    All this time I wasted
You were right there all along
    You and I stargazing
    Intertwining souls
    We were never strangers
You were right there all along
    I lose my mind
When I'm around you, how I come alive
When I'm without you, I can't help but feel so lost
I wanna give you all I've got
They say you know it when you know it, and I know
    (Oh-oh-oh)
Promise that you'll hold me close, don't let me go
    (Hey!)
Take my heart, don't break it
    Love me to my bones
    All this time I wasted
You were right there all along
    You and I stargazing
    Intertwining souls
    We were never strangers
You were right there all along
    All along
Take my heart, don't break it
    Love me to my bones
    All this time I wasted
You were right there all along

      it’s cuz it’s acoustic

@@aaronchigs3147 false. it's because he can't hit the high notes irl. not one live version does he hit the falsetto 'bones' or 'soul'. dudes a phony. backing track live and he still can't match it. foh.

@@yourmindondrums bro what? He changes it so he doesn't mess up the falsetto... you called him a phony? For what? Avoiding mistakes while performing live? Any normal musician would do that

    • @drewishgaminginc.3942

And before your ignorant ass replies with something stupid I've been performing in front of crowds since I was a teenager, granted nothing too huge but still.... you're there to entertain the audience, not show off your mad crazy skills. Any self respecting performer would prioritize a good performance over sounding like they're in a studio. That only invites mistakes which, in my experience, ends up being the only thing you can think about. So he avoids it like a smart man to put on a good show

@drewishgaminginc.3942 "so he doesn't mess up the falsetto" - yes, because he can't do it live. I can find you many examples of people hitting crazier notes night after night 100% live. Dude shouldn't have recorded it if he can't actually do it.
