Might I suggest a Tunnel Scout as a future first-person vehicle choice? It does technically have a drill, albeit a weaker one than the small digger, and you wouldn't have to worry nearly as much about terrain issues and shaking the screen. As for the monsters, I personally would have spammed Power Paths even more with the abundant ore; the monsters would have taken the time to destroy them, which would have given you more time to defend against them. Still, a fun watch and a great job! Looking forward to the next installment!
Thanks! Another thing that crossed my mind was maybe a few pusher beams in the mix. I haven't tried them in Manic Miners but they did push monsters back a great deal in the original game. May be time to give them a try here. Something in the back of my head was telling me more power paths would be a good idea, but just didn't do it. the Remastered missions don't mess around! Tunnel scout may be a helpful choice, especially once the drill upgrade is installed.
