Imagine not having any of those things outlines at the beginning in your late 30s, mid 40s. That's how it is for millennials. I'm just getting started after suffering depression for 20 years--and I eventually just got sick of being sick. So, this advice isn't just for people in their 20s, but for everyone--no matter how late you're getting going.
@@AestheticmovieclipsI am at no level to advise because I am quite lethargic too, but for the past few weeks I have incorporated some healthy habits in my routine with moderate success. I noticed my problem was I used to set very high expectations and then think myself into guilt tripping if I didn't meet them (mostly I didn't meet them). Underrating the effects of small steps made me set unrealistic expectations. Then there is the hard part of saying "no" to the things you enjoy doing, or are addicted to (for me it was scrolling into oblivion). Little by little these small no s however hard they were, filled me with a sense of accomplishment towards the end of the day. Once you get used to it, it slowly gets easier with consistency, but for me saying "no" was and still is the hardest part (especially to unhealthy food I like lol). This was my experience, I'll leave you to decide what to make of it. Good luck and beautiful life to you.
Hello bro 🤜, I am a final year degree student(20s), I decided to develop myself in before 2024 in these skills or points *shyness, confidence, public speaking or presentation, communication skills, improve speaking English, productive, stage fear, anxiety, nervousness, fear of speaking with other peoples* give me in details to do that❤
Thanks for all the videos you make! I really appreciate all the content. They have certainly helped me improve my life, especially in improving my productivity!
Thank you..rosary is like meditating on the whole life of jesus christ❤ motivates me and i really understand now that people who hate discipline hates rosary
1. I think people should appreciate the journey for the objective they want to achieve and appreciation may not come from outside but can come within themselves. When I see students they all seem to hate that but i think by trying to change the mindset we can enjoy what we do. Its really difficult to do a job you hate and it may well be possible that the hatred is just coming from inside, with a little effect and giving appropriate time we can learn to enjoy it even though we hated it in the start. We cannot try all options its too time consuming and everyone doesn't have that luxury but this way we can really be satsfied with what we have. 2. Creating a system and habit is very important. You can do a task perfectly for the first time but with a habit it will just fade away. Mediocre consistency always wins than perfectionist scattered pieces of performing an activity.
Great video Mike! I'm from South Arica and in my early twenties. I started my RUclips channel this year and decided to take RUclips more seriously as a business rather than a hobby. I did well in school and univeristy but have this burning desire that there is more to life. I specifically started having this mindset when I started listening to Ali Abdaal's podcast Deep Dive and watvhing your video "How I Overcame My Procrastination Addiction" and realised that this is the direction I want my life to go in. You are truly an inspiration and would love to meet you one day.
very inspiring! I'm reaching 27 in 2 months and was always in a rush for the last 7 years of my 20s like Alice in Wonderland's rabbit. Every time I got upgraded in my skills and income there was a harder opportunity, like an upgrade in lifestyle that required me to pay more bills or someone wanting to hire me for a gig that involved skills I had not acquired yet, the constant stretch making me feel like I'm never enough. Yet despite all of this chaos, I can see myself closer to my dream life faster than I ever expected, maybe that's the perk of a fast-paced yet passionate adventure of my 20s. So busy hope I can get back to RUclips soon
